A nice way to start the day

This cafe was recommended to me as a nice place to get a good breakfast. I did indeed enjoy a good breakfast, even though It is very busy and crowded. The space between tables rubs elbows with your neighbor but hey, I went for the food. Service was nice. I did have to wait on a waiting list even... read more

We picked this restaurant because we were told they serve breakfast all day. The fact that it was less than two blocks from the beach was a bonus! I had their french toast that was made out of their homemade cinnamon bread. It was fabulous! It was lunch time and I was afraid it was going to be way too... More

What a find! My wife and I were visiting Carlsbad for three days, and had breakfast here all three days. Every day was excellent. The wait staff was outstanding (especially Erin). Not only was she attentive, anticipating our needs, she also had great recommendations for area activities, restaurantss and directions. On our last visit, there was a wait and plenty... More

A hamburger with fries cost 12.00, it was good but should have bought down the street at knockout burger for 5.00 The pro's ...lots of flowers outside entrance and it's on main strip

We just enjoyed a wonderful breakfast this morning in Carlsbad. We were heading to the airport and decided to take the scenic route and found this restaurant through trip advisor. So thankful we have it a try! My husband loves breakfast and he said the "biscuits and gravy" were phenomenal! I loved the omelet and coffee was wonderful too. Service... More

Really good food and fun staff. Sitting outside for breakfast two days made a great part of the vacation. Conveniently located in a beautiful area. We had to wait both mornings but it was easy to keep the kids (and adults) occupied while we waited. Great coffee!!!! (very important!) Delicious - go there - you'll be happy you did.

It's hard for me to judge a restaurant on breakfast because its hard to wreck bacon and eggs and toast. So I go to this spot because i like to eat outside and i love breakfast. When i visit Carlsbad i like the fact that all my needs are met ,once i park the car i walk everywhere. The Daily... More

This restaurant was right next to our hotel, so it was convenient for breakfast and/or lunch. The patio area is well shaded with umbrellas. It's a bit crowded, but no so much that it was unpleasant. Service was quick and friendly. I had a lobster salad croissant sandwich that was very good for lunch, served with fruit that was exceptionally... More

Not too far of a walk from the hotel we were staying at so we decided to walk there for breakfast one morning. They had a good breakfast selection and really good cinnamon french toast all for a reasonable price.

My family and I went for breakfast while on vacation recently. I had an omelet that lacked flavor and the red potatoes it came with also lacked flavor and need to be crispier. My husband had the French toast which looked average. My kids had muffins and my 2 year old didn't even finish it. We got a cinnamon rolls... More
