All the food is good here. Close enough to a couple of hotels that you can walk here. Good service. Not overly-priced. Open for all meals.

Imagine Denny's with way better food and service.......Our meal would have been great, even if it didn't end with a terrific piece of pie.

After reading the reviews on the Yelp, we decided to give it a try. My wife ordered the tuna melt while I got the fisherman's plate. Her dish was plentiful and she liked it. I did not really like my meal. The restaurant was packed but service was mediocre. We had to wait for refills and our check. The pies... More

All the food is great. Specializing in comfort food. Can't say enough about the Chicken Tortilla Soup AND the Chocolate Chip cookies that you can buy by the bag!!

This family owned hometown cafe was a deligthful. We set out to find a place that served pie and so directed there by our cell phone. Would never have found it without navigation device but worth the trip. The first night we had soup and pie. My friend had chocolate pecan and I had cherry with ice cream. The second... More

Food was great and too much to finish. Had breakfast and dinner and both were good, had a great small town feel with very friendly staff and Chris the manager is great.

After grabbing a yummy pecan pie the day before, we went back for breakfast the next day. We ate at the bar and were served at a busy time of the day, however we weren't made to wait for long and our waitress was pleasant and patient with any additional requests we had (eg milk with coffee). The thing i... More

Food was pretty good. Pie I had was nothing special. It was pudding on crust! I would eat there again but it's nothing to rave over.

Four of us had dinner at the Village Kitchen and Pie Shop. Two had the chicken friend steak, one had the liver and onions and I had the half sandwich, salad and pie. The booths are showing their age and several have rips and tears in the leather. The server, Chris, was especially friendly, courteous and helpful. My ham and... More
