Food was pretty good. Pie I had was nothing special. It was pudding on crust! I would eat there again but it's nothing to rave over.

Four of us had dinner at the Village Kitchen and Pie Shop. Two had the chicken friend steak, one had the liver and onions and I had the half sandwich, salad and pie. The booths are showing their age and several have rips and tears in the leather. The server, Chris, was especially friendly, courteous and helpful. My ham and... More

Eating here is like taking a seat in Grandma's kitchen. Good basic fare, friendly small town service and a pie for everyone's taste.

Good, home-town, country-kitchen feel restaurant that we picked as it was really close to our motel. We went here for dinner after long day at nearby Legoland. They served breakfast all day, have a nice selection of lunch/dinner items, a kid's menu and a big selection of pies. The serve was speedy and friendly; the atmosphere was cozy and comfortable... Went here a family diner. Had Father's Day menu but not available on sat the day before so why have it on the menu? Not enough utensils for the number of us. Had to ask the waitress for them. Had to ask the waitress for more water. Had to ask the waitress for ketchup. Had to ask her for the... More

Food was really good and good value. Got a lot for the money. Ate both breakfast and dinner there and was happy with all selections. Only issue was that they ran out of strawberries for nephew's Belgian waffles one morning. Hot chocolate was awesome. Wonderful banana bread and pie!

We really enjoyed our breakfast here. We came based on the reviews and were not disappointed! Great value, hearty American breakfast food. We would definitely come back here again!

If you are looking for good rustic fare this resturant is a real find. The food is good and the portions are ample. It reminds me a lot of midwestern eateries that I grew up with. It is very popular with local people which might give you a hint as to the quality and value you will receive. I make... More
