Las Olas

This is a pretty good mexican restaurant. We had a lunch there recently they have good lunch specials and the guacamole was decent. They only bring out a small bowl of chips and when you order a side of guac as an appetizer I just expected a more generous portion of chips

great margaritas and authentic Mexican food right near the beach...great happy hour! We stayed at Ocean Palms Beach Resort, and this restaurant was just across the street.

I tried the flame broiled chili relleno and the Baja fish tacos. It was a nice change from a heavily battered relleno. Both were delicious. It didn't hurt matters that the bartender new how to make a top shelf margarita the right way.

Don't bother, this place does not represent either authentic or refined Mexican food, but rather the kind of bland lackadaisical effort you can only get away with when there are always new tourists to fill your tables. Can't imagine this place would survive if primarily locals were required to keep the doors open. Much better options for Mexican food or... More

The food was very good - guacamole was fresh, carne asada taco was delicious. Restaurant was packed so although server was awesome she was a bit overwhelmed at times. Noise level was very loud.

First off the food was great, place is kinda small and gets packed but they did try their best to keep families with kids all in one room which didn't bother us, waiters were nice the only part we didn't like was the girl that seats you was rude. But there food was just like other reviews said very good.

We stopped on 2 different days as it is very close to beach access and they'll validate your parking. The margarita flight was delicious and the wait staff excellent on both visits.

Mostly you are paying for the location. For about the same price, you can get much better Mexican food inland.

The atmosphere is bustling and the service is fast. We were a group of 3 and seated promptly. The waitress was quick to as for our drink order and inform us of the evening's specials. The guacamole was chunky and delicious. The food was quick and hot. Plenty of delicious food for everyone at our table. We will return to... More

We had a great experience eating at Las Olas after a busy day at Legoland. We were fortunate to get in before Happy Hour ended (@6) and sampled a Pineapple-Chili Margarita, which was fantastic! They also have some great appetizer specials like a fish taco for $2.95. The chips were served hot and fresh and the salsa was outstanding -... More
