Great oysters; very expensive

We came here for dinner. All the dishes were very expensive. My daughter had shrimp pasta, which was very good. My salmon tacos were uninspired. My son loved his oyster sampler. Calamari appetizer was okay, not great. Total for dinner-no alcohol-$110 not including tax or tips.

The 4 of us enjoyed a fun lunch watching Torrey Pines golf on several wide screen TV's. Just made the beer and the good selection of wines by the glass, taste better. All the dishes were prepared to our liking from the Ono Fish sandwich, Salmon sushi, oysters on the half shell, crab salad and the crab cakes. All just... More

Best seafood restaurant in the area. Fresh fish and good service. Now that Fish Market in Carlsbad village is closed it's worth the short drive to Kings. Large selection of items. Same menu for lunch or dinner but lower prices at lunch.

This our second visit to Carlsbad and second visit to King's. I had the Macedonia crusted Halibut which is a continual menu item. Spinach and asparagus for sides made for an outstanding late lunch/early dinner. My wife had grilled flounder and rosemary potatoes which were excellent as well. Key lime pie for desert was some of the best my wife... More

The food here was fantastic! Huge selection of different kinds of seafood and the mahi mahi I ordered was just great. The service was also very good. My only minor complaint is just that it's one huge open room so kind of loud, but not intolerable. Definitely worth checking out regardless!

Very well made food. Crab cakes are a great option. Halibut is most if you like fish. Quantities are perfect and not to big.

My husband had the catfish entree. The pieces were very large and tasty. I had the macadamia nut crusted salmon- excellent! I am very fussy about my fish. If it smells fishy, I'm not touching it. The fish was very well prepared. We also got huge baked potatoes and warm bread. Good service too!

We had Halibut, salads and fries, which was perfect for us, and the fish was cooked perfectly! Great draft beer as well. Am pleasantly amazed that they can pull off the quality that they do considering that they are a chain.

Too often I get overcooked fish in the US. Not so tonight at King's Fish House. Good food and service (waited just a hint too long for the drinks). Music not loud - often an issue. Fair prices.
