Ocean View and Incredible Tuscan Italian

We love this place because you not only have freshly made Italian by the chef and owner who is always greeting the guests but you have a fantastic ocean view too. Seating at the bar in front of the Fire pit Pizza Oven gives you views of the Ocean, the wide screen TV and the live entertainment... read more

My wife and I need to figure out restrauant reviews on tripadviser. E.g. The food at Cicciott's is awful, just awful - with everything we ordered I had their 'family' made lasagne for $20.75! It was so liquid, one rquired a spoon to eat it. Flavorless and bland. The dish did not taste nor look like lasagne. I ate about... More

Thanks to a Groupon, we had a meal at Ciccioti's. The restaurant is in a bungalow- like structure near train tracks. There is also an outdoor patio. I ordered the lobster bisque soup. It was flavorful but I thought there could have been some larger chunks of lobster in it. My soup was followed by the cannelloni stuffed with ground... More

I have eaten at many Italian restaurants in San Diego and along the North Shore. I have to say that no other restaurant even gets close to the authentic, superb, delicious and mouth watering Italian food created by what I consider to be an outstanding chef with his staff. I also want to give tribute to the welcoming atmosphere and... More

We went for Restaurant week and really enjoyed the outdoor patio, can see why it was voted on of the most romantic restaurants in San Diego. I wish we had gone when the sun was setting because you can view the ocean from both inside and outside. Now on to the food DELICIOUS. I started with the cheese & artichoke... More

Reservations for 8:30 on a Friday night...normally late for us but it's Restaurant Week and we thought the crowd would be thinned out by then. Wrong. We arrived 20 minutes early, checked-in and had a glass of wine in the bar. It was packed with hoards of people waiting. Just watching the kitchen staff and waiters running around like there... Hubby and I recently enjoyed a night out at this locals place. We both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We started with the cup of soup I tried the artichoke soup which was quite nice, hubby tried their tomato bisque. Then we moved on, I ordered the Linguine ai Due Golfi, it had large tiger shrimp and crab meat in a white... More

Went on a Saturday night. All tables were full and there was a line to get in. We had a reservation and were seated promptly at 6:30. We didn't have the best table in the place, but I was happy they had a table waiting. They seemed to be very well organized. We ordered and had a very minimal wait... More

Cicciotti's combines an energy filled environment with music, a full Italian dish menu, and an evening of fun, fun, fun. Daniel provides wonderful singing, along with guests, and the house rocks. Food is very good, and the menu provides lots of options. Chicken Parm was outstanding, and the fish dishes are winners. Did not have pizza, but positive comments from... More
