Being of Italian descent I know good Italian food. This is a favorite local spot for me. Gaetano Cicciotti runs a wonderful establishment. Food and service are top rate. Parking can be problematic.

My wife and I have been to Cicciotti's numerous times and enjoyed the experience immensely. This time we chose to bring another couple who had never been there so we could see the restaurant through their eyes. The other couple has owned restaurants all over the world, plau a large catering business in San Francisco. As we walked in we... More

The location is perfect with a wonderful ocean view. The menu was vast and the food quite delicious. We had the seafood lasagna and also the spaghetti with meatballs. Both were incredible. The owner greeted us as we entered and seated us right away without a reservation, although on weekends I can see it getting pretty busy. The server was... More

Went with friends last Friday. Great time, outstanding food and service. Chicken w/asparagus and cognac sauce was perfectly prepared, served with pasta aglio e olio and grilled vegetables as sides - magnifico!! Piano man signing Italian and some old pop tunes, joined by a couple other vocalists including our waiter, was very entertaining.

Discovered this place on a Groupon special. Since then, have been back 2 more times and each time is a new experience. Low corkage fee if you bring in your wine. Lase time they had a great prix fixe meal on Sundays and Mondays, all for $20. Will be going back with friends.

Great service, with smiles. Have enjoyed other dinners in the main dining room, but was seated in the sun room tonight. It was fine, but try to be seated in the main dining room, if possible. It just makes the meal that much more authentic.

Feels like a restaurant in Italy as you enter. Overlooks the ocean, has outdoor and indoor seating. Because of the number of tables it is best if you are thinking of an European style of dining for the evening when it is busy. I found the staff well aquainted with the menu and daily specials. We had baked artichokes, very... More

the homemade pasta is out of this world and the sauces were so tasty and full of goodies that tasted perfect. The salads were all very flavorful and the home made soup knocked our socks off. The meat was cooked perfectly and seasoned to enhance it. The desserts are sweet, gooey and creamy...all Perfect!

I knew this place was authentic as soon as I realized that our waiter speaks Italian. We are Midwesterners who were in California for the New Year. We were, sorry Californians, getting tired of the typical California food, tired of aeoli, mango salsa, etc., so we were thrilled to sit down for an authentic Italian meal. It was lovely. The... This restaurant is a bit expensive, but the food never disappoints. The service is serviceable, not exceptional by any means. But again, the food is just so tasty! But because it is a bit on the expensive side, I only go with Groupons. To be perfectly honest, I get the same thing every time, because it is just about my... More
