We dined for lunch and enjoyed it very much. We ordered guac ($7.50 for a full size that is very small when you are used to Mexican restaurant abundance), chille rellano a la carte ($7) (the best I had during my week in the San Diego area- with a delicious filling and fried exterior) and grilled shrimp tacos ($12.50, nice... We come here fairly often and always love it. Last weekend, however, we ordered the vegetarian tostadas, and were really disappointed. No more than a couple of tablespoons of grilled veggies, almost no beans, mostly iceberg lettuce. Worse yet, there was a pool of water under the taco shell - whether from not draining the beans properly, or not draining... More

This place has it all. Great bartenders good food that is always fresh, hot and juicy. with a view of the ocean across the street. This is one of the best Tex-Mex place I have ever been and love going back. This is a do not miss place. Go between 2-3 pm on weekends. What a blast.

This time the hostess was kind of snotty, our waitress however was fabulous. I've only eaten the fried fish taco platter here with the slaw and rice, and corn tortillas. It's soooo good. Their salsa has a bit of a bite, I love it. Beers are cold and my dining partners seemed to enjoy their specialty margaritas were great as... More

Great spot across the PCH from the ocean - the lunch special of Fish Tacos Baja Style ($8 ! ) is the way to go. Lots of fish tacos in the SD area, these are among the best.

It was packed on a Sunday, but is right off the beach so great location. We ordered a pitcher of Margarita's for four, cost was $27.00. Good deal. Long wait but obvious do to the crowds. Our server was friendly but very forgetful and kitchen must have been swamped, we waited almost an hour after orders in. Chimichanga was tasty... More

Las Olas is our go to place for beachside sunsets and good food. There are fancier places with finer dining choices, but this place really makes you feel like you're living in So Cal. It's complete packed on the weekends and parking can be tricky, but the food is always good. Sometimes the drinks aren't the greatest, but our waiter... More

A local took us to this restaurant as it came highly recommended by them. We had lunch menu. Very good food. Loved the slaw salad. Fish tacos very good. Ambiance was casual and across the PCH was the ocean. Very seaside surfer feel. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Server was great. Would recommend for some great So Cal Mexican cuisine.

Simple, BUSY, genuine . . . these are the words used to describe a great Mexican food experience. The margaritas are good, the guacamole is really some of the best, and the food is all tasty. If you happen to be in Cardiff by the Sea . . . go to Las Olas and have a bite or TWO!

Las Olas is a locals favorite. The marguerites are good, the Grilled Chicken Burrito has a nice array of flavors. On a sunny day, you're watching surfers catch waves, or the sun sink over the horizon. Definitely love sitting on the patio. Great for a date night, family dinner, or hanging out with friends.
