Good, but not super

The tacos and the bowls are good but not over the top. From a flavor standpoint I like Roberto's better. However, the view adds another star to the overall experience. Go go if you can snag a view seat, otherwise head on down the road to someplace a little more authentic.

Such a shame! Bull Taco used to be a morning ritual for us when camping at San Elijo, but not anymore. First of all your paying premium prices for a taco stand, but if the flavors unique and bold I'd be ok with it. Things got really bland, and drab with a heavy sour cream base. I will say they... I love tacos, but I have never eaten them at such a beautiful place !!! Located high on a cliff, overlooking the Pacific Ocean and a friendly campground, it was a perfect day for some Southwest fare ! I have to say, upon arrival, the line was long, but moved quickly. The food was slightly above average. Our party of... More

Great place to go when you are at the beach in Cardiff. Always good and always has a line, which is a testament in itself on how good it is. My wife & I and my adult son have eaten here often and will definitely continue to do so, at least me and my wife will. I have no problem... More

The "restaurant" is just an old snack bar at San Elijo State Beach, converted into enough of a kitchen to churn out fantastic, fresh Mexican street food. Speaking of which, the food is awesome. I've had just about every taco they make: pork, beef, grilled fish, shrimp, chicken and even duck. They were all delicious. Burritos are great too, I'm... More

This place sits inside the San Elijo State Beach campground. We'd heard about it so we wanted to try. We were intrigued they offered duck on the menu. None of us wanted to get it though... We got a plain quesadilla for the kids. My son said it was not really anything special. But hey, it's just a quesadilla. The... More

Awesome. California surfer style, stoner worthy portions with great flavoring and tons of health options. Wild boar korean bbq is my favorite, although you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Have visiting there stand now 3 times at private catering functions, and they are super quick to setup ("just give us 30 min notice"), and its gourmet tacos... More

We read about this restaurant in AZ Republic so we decided to check it our for lunch. My first time to order any type fish tacos. I ordered CSG tacos and not disappointed. The service was fast and courteous. Alcohol pending though.

Finally tried Bull Taco--not in Cardiff (where the view probably accounts for the good ratings). Not sure why people love it so much. Any taco shop--Rico's, Roberto's, El Nopalito, is way better. It's fine, and they are friendly. But I prefer fresh salsa. They had salsa that you squeezed out of bottles into little cups. No chunky pico de gallo.... More
