Finally tried Bull Taco--not in Cardiff (where the view probably accounts for the good ratings). Not sure why people love it so much. Any taco shop--Rico's, Roberto's, El Nopalito, is way better. It's fine, and they are friendly. But I prefer fresh salsa. They had salsa that you squeezed out of bottles into little cups. No chunky pico de gallo.... More

I love this place. It's amazing as the food is amazing, people are friendly and the view is amazing. What else could you need. Shrimp burrito is amazing.

Decent food thats relatively cheap. Nothing to write home about but its great for a quick lunch. Sitting on top of the bluff, it has fantastic views of the coast. A great place to unwind for a while and if you don't mind stairs, the beach is easily accessable.

Four of us had tacos: shrimp, chicken, pork. All were decent. The salsa was fresh. But it's not the food that makes this a "must stop," it's the unbelievable view (worth a picture or two from the top of the steps). Surfers abound here and watching the sunset from this perspective is worth every penny you pay at the counter.

We live in La Jolla, California, and still drive up the coast to this little gem! VERY casual, stand in line to order, great fresh fish tacos, and burritos any way you want them. Get a basket of chips and some of the best ever fresh salsa, and find a seat along the rail or toward the steps leading to... More

Can't beat the ocean view. I had a shrimp and a fish taco both were ok. Next time I had a quesadilla. It was also ok. They are opening another bull taco where jamroc used to be. I will probably try it.

I took my kids(age 4 and 2) here. They are picky eaters so I have to make a lot of requests, such as chipotle sour cream on the side, melted cheddar instead of nacho cheese, etc. there was only one woman there working bc it was early and it seemed like we were the first customers of the day. She... More

This small taco shop is hidden next to the gift shop inside of the state park. Even many Cardiffians don't know about this place, so let's keep it a secret between us, OK? The portions are small and the prices are high, but the view of the beach and ocean alone are worth it. The items are carefully prepared with... More

WOW! Fresh mexican food served outside above a bluff over the ocean with views to La Jolla. Get there early in the evening so they don't run out of the fish. Had surf and turf burrito (shrimp & carne asada). Have lived nearby for almost 2 decades...didn't know a restaurant was inside a state beach campground!!!

You can never go wrong choosing a menu item at Bull Taco. Our volunteer group makes the regular stop for lunch at Bull Taco a necessary requirement. The outdoor restaurant is located inside the campground of Cardiff State Beach, high up on the bluffs overlooking the sea. Talk about dining at a place with a fabulous view ! And that... More
