Best tex-mex food I've had. But price has gone up faster than inflation. I always order the chicken enchilada con rice & beans.

El Toro's staff is always friendly. The food is wonderful and the service is great. One never leaves hungry. It's a fun place to go, especially on Cinco de Mayo. Regardless of how busy they are, they always can accommodate the crowd and still serve food in a very timely manner.

I love taquerias! While this is not the best one, it is definitely better than some. The location of El Toro Bravo is the perfect beach setting to enjoy a carne asada taco and a cool beer. Unfortunately, my daughter who is an authority on quesadillas was disappointed as her's was a soggy compared to the ones her dad makes... More

The food was very good and we were pleased that they offered vegetarian options (tamales, enchiladas, etc.) It was a bit strange that with their sides of beans and rice on their dinner plates, if you want all beans vs. beans and rice, there is a 15 cent extra charge. Really - how many people are going to do that?... More

Very cozy place and steps from the beach. I had the Carne asada burrito with cheese... chips and yummy HOT sauce. Very good meal. Close to beach and shopping.

I've been going to this little place in Capitola for at least 25 years. The food is excellent, big portions, great salsa, and an always nice staff. No fancy meals, just good, basic Mexican food that keeps me coming back whenever i am in the area. Parking is a pain and Capitola can be a mess in the summer, but... More

Love their shrimp enchiladas! Capitola Beach is just steps away. As locals, we usually don't visit during the summer months, but it would be a great ending for a day at the beach.

When we first walked in, I was skeptical. The place looked a little dingy and well.... bad. But our waitress was immediately wonderful and the food was scrumptious! Good beef tacos and chicken enchilada!

Has been in the village for many years. Good mexican food. Small dining room. Can be busy during lunch. Across street from the small Capitola Beach.

I had the chile verde with steak based on the recommendation of the waitress. It was very good. My whole family liked this restaurant.
