In my opinion the best restaurant in the area. We discovered Caruso's a couple of months ago and have been there several times. This is a very small restaurant and that adds to the charm. The owner and his wife serve you as if you were sitting at their own table and are as much a part of the charm... More

Sadly, we learned on our last visit (May 2014) that plans are made to close this restaurant. The good news, is that the team of Davide and his wife will stay in the area and start a new venture. We wait with our fingers crossed. This is a great location, just a short distance from the beach, and right next... More

We had a great experience! The evening started with the owner seating us to the table and describing with passion, the meals he suggested. We ordered the lasagna, seafood risotto, and pizza for my daughter. All excellent choices!! The tiramisu is also a must! It was the best we've ever had, and we lived in Italy! We will definitely be... More

Caruso's is our family's favorite restaurant. Everything about it is wonderful... the food, the service, and the location. Be sure to get the truffle raviolis, they are out of this world. We usually get them for all of us to share as an appetizer.

Halibut, broccolini, and roasted potatoes all cooked to perfection. Combine that with a nice glass of wine and great service and this is a can't miss restaurant in Capitola. Bravo!

It's always crowded for 2 reasons - it's tiny, only about 6 tables and it's really, really good. Go early on a weekday for a special treat. Have the eggplant involtini's - it will take you back to the old country. Fairly prices, large portions - a great place to spend a special occasion.

Go in knowing you might have to wait. This place is small and seems to specialize in parties of 4+ so get there a little early, put your name in and stroll around town while you wait (also, they only do reservations for parities greater than 4 so couples, you are on your own!). We were told it might be... More

Very friendly gregarious owner. Very small space makes it intimate, but not necessarily romantic. Very friendly, happy, gregarious owner. We took two small children and felt comfortable. We had the risotto and the vodka fettuccine, they were really good. The carpaccio was outstanding, maybe the best we've had. You will leave well-fed and happy.

The food is better than fantastic. Davide Caruso is a fabulous chef and has a great personally too. He jokes and sings as he cooks. The restaurant has a very romantic atmosphere too, but we took small children and it was equally as comfortable for an entire family.
