Great Italian.

Great Italian. We've been before and keep going back. Excellent service. It's small, so get there early!

I went for dinner on a week-day night in mid-June. I was on a brief visit to Capitola Village and didn’t have a lot of time because the shops were closing. I was really hungry, so I checked on Yelp and Tripadvisor for some suggestions. Caruso's was highly rated, so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm not a... More

We had a wonderful dinner at Caruso's! We arrived fairly early, around 5:30, knowing the restaurant is very small and they don't take reservations for 2. We had a lovely table at the window. The waiter was great, and very knowledgeable about the wine selection. The food is delicious, and plentiful. My husband loved the salmon special, and said it... More

The tiny restaurant had a table for two when we went in. Amazing. As I am vegan, the waitresses and cook discussed what would be appropriate. I ended up with a smallish amount of delicious vegetables and a huge amount of overcooked salty risotto. I was charged full price for each which seemed excessive. My husband had a pizza that... The place is small but the staff is friendly- very jovial environment. The food was very good Italian and they have some great daily specials which we have always tried when we go. It is very near the beach so you can stroll there after dinner. Would recommend.

We enjoyed a really nice meal at Carusos. The food was excellent; the gnocchi was among the best I've ever tasted, and the wood fired pizza was as close to true Italian as you're likely to find here in California. It's a stone's throw from Capitola beach, and it's very small; we arrived early on a weekday, but there were... More

We were on our way to a Thai place someone had recommended when we walked by this place. On their chalkboard outside they listed a special of lamb shank for the evening. My husband loves lamb and the only time he gets it is when we go out as I don't like or cook it. They had just opened so... More

This tiny restaurant serves the very best Bolognese sauce that is on their lasagna as well as some pasta dishes. My dish was fettuccine, (with the sauce of course), and was served in a conical shape that kept the pasta very warm, and yummy, throughout the meal. My wife had their carpaccio carne with a generous serving of capers, red... More

This quaint little place is nothing but quality. From the nice waitresses and owner, to the amazing food we ate. We all were fixated on the special, Chicken Parmesan, which was so tender and most...I couldn't help but eat all of it despite my stomach saying stop! Out waitress who said she was new definitely earned her tip and was... More

We were lucky to walk in around 6pm last night on a Sunday evening and grab 2 seats at the counter. The only down side to the counter is that the counter is very high, while the seats are a bit low, so it is not the most ergonomically friendly spot to dine, but we did not want to wait... More
