Terrible Service, Disturbingly long wait, Mediocre food - - Management Please Take Notice! (and other CUSTOMERS - we highly recommend you GO TO ZELDA's!!) I wish we had read more recent reviews of this place before we tried it. I can definitely agree & back up the other negative reviews I see here. We visit Capitola frequently and always go... More

I was here for a rehearsal dinner and was so impressed! The restaurant has a great decor and ambiance and incredible views of the ocean and charmingly colorful houses of Capitola. They have an outdoor balcony which was amazing. The food was great - I had veggie enchiladas and loved them. Great service and really yummy margaritas! We had a... More

This place is somewhat of an enigma. They have a nice patio/deck that overlooks Soquel Creek and the ocean pier but the service is very inconsistent. We have been there a few times because they have good steak nachos and quesadillas half price during happy hour but you never know who might wait on you if anyone. I'm not sure... More

Sadly this place has gone from being an OK tourist trap to just plain terrible. Mexican food? What are they trying to sell as that, pathetic! Even the drinks were poor and overpriced. My wife ordered a Stoors Chardonnay (local Santa Cruz favorite $12/glass) they tried to pass off the house crap instead...we challenged the waitress and she admitted they... More

Got food poisoning. Manager refused to acknowledge this. Since two of us had the same symptoms after the same meal, and the others in the party having a different meal and did not have severe GI problems the conclusion had to be poisoning.

We walked in and somewhat stumbled out, after sampling some really excellent and diverse margaritas. The gentlemen working behind the bar were attentive and seemed to like their jobs. Appetizers were a welcome and tasty diversion between sips.

We waited for about 45 minutes for a table. The service was lackluster, maybe because we didn't buy bar drinks? We had to prompt for everything. Napkins, please. Silverware, hello? Drinks, can we please?? Refill? Don't count on it! A couple of the items came out wrong and were never fully fixed, at some point, you're hungry and you just... More

After teens and grandson were settled in for the evening the 4 adults went for a couple drinks. Service was great, drinks were better. Had Margaritas and a bloody mary all were great. We would go back here for sure.
