This restaurant is very good for fish.We sat at a table back by the kitchen with no view, which we did not like,as it sits right on the beach. Not sure why they put us back there because it wasn't very busy.We should have asked for something in the front area, our bad. We stopped in for late evening drinks, the deck with its heaters had just closed, but our drinks at the bar were excellent. Reservations are expected for dining, they cannot accommodate large parties, and this is not a family environment. A special thank you to the kind gentleman who bought us a round of drinks, a first ever, and a... More

We went as a large group, 15 total. We were seated at two 8 tops, side by side. We placed drink orders, waited 20 minutes for them to come out. It appeared they wanted to serve everyone at once rather than as drinks came up. Ordered dinner at 7pm and it arrived at 7:45. All and all it was a... More

After spending a few hours in the late afternoon at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, we drove to Capitola looking for a place to eat. We were lucky to find parking right away. We checked out the various menus and locations and Paradise looked like the best bet. We were probably dressed a little too casual, having come from the boardwalk.... More

The steaks were some of the best I have ever had in a restaurant. I am a ice tea snob and I must have drank a gallon with pleasure. The desert was fried cheese cake which made my husband and I very happy. We just wanted to even lick the plates the food was so good. The wait staff was... More

Our kids took us to this place to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday. Two young fellows, the Kelly Brothers, were playing music. There was a group there for a bachelorette party and they were having a great time. Lots of people were dancing in the small area around the piano and by the end of the afternoon they got both... My friend and I ate out on the back patio. It was a pretty day and the view is nice. There are seats in the sun and seats in the shade if you sit under the umbrellas. The service was a bit slow for my taste. The raw tuna appetizer was really good. The calamari was pretty good, but the... More

Paradise is my neighborhood go-to when we want a nice light, energetic spot to grab a meal. The views from the deck are great, the menu is varied and very tasty. I love their skirt steak, and also the salads. The service varies, and there is usually a confusion about what is served when. That said, still a local favorite... More

excellent food and service. I seem to make it to this area about once a year and make it a point to stop by and get a great meal. Love the salmon, skirt steak, apple salad.... Service top notch.

Paradise Beach Grill has the best Happy Hour Burger and Fries in the county! And you cannot beat the 1/2 off price! They have a lovely seating area towards the back by the bar with large windows with beach and ocean view. This small room only has about 4 tables but worth the wait to sit there especially during the... More
