Great food with a view

After wandering past several restaurants along the way while in Capitola, we landed here. The menu caught my eye and they were welcoming, so we landed here for lunch last weekend. Great food and great service. Not sure what they did but the fries were amazing (with really cute presentation). The... read more

My family and I went here for lunch, so, of course, we looked at the lunch menu rather than the dinner menu, and we able to find something everyone would like. We had to wait 20 minutes for a table, which we were fine with, but when our table was ready, the hostess informed us that "The lunch menu had... More

We just love sitting in the bar area and looking out at Capitola Beach and Wharf while sipping on our happy hour beverages and enjoying a yummy burger & fries and teriyaki chicken wings. The atmosphere is fun and we generally run into a friend or two. It's also a great place for lunch on the deck with friends or... More

Paradise Grill is our go-to for a weekday lunch in the Village. Lots of items to choose from (even though we are stuck on the calamari, roasted garlic and Brie, Ahi salad and fries) and we've never been disappointed. The bar always makes my skinny margaritas how I like them, and the wine list offers a decent selection. The view,... More

A woman that said that this was the best restaurant and boy was she right! I had Fanny Bay oysters and seared scallops. The oysters had a topping like no other. It was a champagne ginger mignonette! Wish I had a dozen!

I spent a day in Capitola while in California (husband's business trip, but I tagged along). I'd planned to go to another restaurant, which turned out to be open only for dinner. I ended up here, and I'm so glad I did! I sat at the bar since I was alone. It was very late for lunch (probably 2pm-ish). The... More

Sit outside on their patio overlooking the beach and quaint Capitola Venetian bungalows. The ahi tuna salad is my favorite, very fresh and flavorful. Gary's special ribs on Monday night are fabulous. Great weekday happy hour appetizer prices, get the curl burger with blue cheese. Always great service too. I'm a local and eat there often.

This restaurant is very good for fish.We sat at a table back by the kitchen with no view, which we did not like,as it sits right on the beach. Not sure why they put us back there because it wasn't very busy.We should have asked for something in the front area, our bad. Anyway the food was good but very expensive for what... More

We stopped in for late evening drinks, the deck with its heaters had just closed, but our drinks at the bar were excellent. Reservations are expected for dining, they cannot accommodate large parties, and this is not a family environment. A special thank you to the kind gentleman who bought us a round of drinks, a first ever, and a... More
