this is more of a sports bar, smells like a bar, not your real pub type food. Too bad its such a nice setting, food quality could be so much better!

If you want to start off your weekend with a fantastic drink, substantial meal, and great people watching, then this is your place. We love the neighborhood bar feel and the karaoke is a bonus. They really control the "stage" singers and don't over do it. If you are into sports, there are plenty of big screen TVs. Not for... More

This place is one of my favorites in the "village". It sits right on the beach and they have patio seating. There are multiple TVs inside and they have the ability to turn on pretty much any sporting event you might be looking for. Even though it is "pub" food, I like it much more than some of the other... Made a stop in our Capitola visit for a bite to eat. We arrived before lunch was being served and chose to return a short time later as we did not want brunch or breakfast meals. Both times we were greeted quickly and by a bright smiling face; the hostess station was not being used at either arrival. The menu,... More

Standard pub fare; we shared a mixed app of deep fried onions, mushrooms and zucchini, which hit the spot. Ales on top were tasty.

This is a decent British pub set next to a lovely beach. Good honest British pub grub and a great staff make this place possibly one of the best eateries in Capitola. Great abundant fish n chips and good ales took me back to London from where we are from. Millwall is a tough no nonsense football team from south... More

At the end of the cute little Beach town sits this restaurant. Sandwiches are huge fresh bread and ingredients. The outside is the best to just chill. Inside is small and the staff looked like they were short staffed while we visited. Still they had a smile. Bar is limited and small, on a busy day you'd be better off... More

Visited the "Brit" in Capitola on Fathers Day. Not real crowded so we tried it. A table outside on the patio was available so we eat there. They have heaters outside but management refused our request to turn them on at 4:00pm. We were told not until the sun sets. So much for customer service.. Fish and chips are large... More

I had fish and chips to go, but wished I had stayed and enjoyed the patio area. Next time I visit, I will definitely stay. The fish was delicious and very large portion. The restaurant was busy (on a weekend) but had a very friendly vibe to it. I would feel comfortable dining here alone. I often eat solo, so... More

The 'Brit' is our local pub and go there often. We generally go on a Friday night when there is music. It's not so big, and often gets filled up. We generally have the fish and chips which we find to be consistently good. Can't comment on the other food on offer. The service is good and very friendly. If... More
