The cafeteria was crowded that sunny hot day in mid-October, but here were excellent views of the monastery and beyond, especially if you can grab seats outside under the gazebo. Tea and biscuits were provided upon request – our guide grabbed a large tray of them for our group. We did not order any meals here. The only way to... More

During my visit to Taktsang Cafeteria, I liked the overall location of the same. The only problem is that the lunch buffet laid out was a bit too expensive at Rs. 1270/- per plate. However, my experience there was of loss and thereafter joy. My brand new powered Raybans sunglasses somehow got misplaced while paying for the tea I had... More

If you did walk up, this is a wonderful rest place, where you can rest, get some hot tea/coffee and replenish your energy with biscuits - certainly a "sight for sore eyes". On the way back, we stopped for lunch - again, this is the only place you can eat - unless you brought your own food. Its unsurprisingly expensive... More

The only cafeteria on the way up to the Tigers Nest, it is a good stop for drinks and snack on the way to or down from the Monastery. The views from the cafe are awesome. They have both out door and indoor seating. This cafe is located approx mid distance from Tiger's Nest. You can have way tea/coffee and... More

This is the only restaurant to have a nice tea stop when you are ascending the Taktsang and then to have a small Bhutanese buffet lunch on the way down. The food is pretty ordinary though. The view of Taktsang from the terrace is great so it was nice to have tea there.

This is a vegetarian restaurant with buffet option. Not much choice but good enough to fill your hungry stomach after the hike. And, you still can look back to the Tiger's Nest monastery while enjoying the meal.

The food was not up to the mark, Rs 470 for a buffet which had very less options but then you will hardly feel that after a tiring day. yes they allow you to rest there for long and that is the best part

A place to rest after a very tiring climb - both up and down. Don't stop on your way up. Very very expensive - Rs.150/- for a cup of bad coffee.

I overpaid my check by accident and the manager pointed out my error and made me take back the excess money I left on the counter. This would not have happened in NY.
