Food & water get over while travelling towards monastery. While returning, everyone gets exhausted and thirsty. This cafeteria saves the life of people. They helped to keep our belongings .

This restaurant is a fairly good one. Best part is its location- you find it when you really want to eat something after a tiring hike. Food is good but not excellent as you compare great food in Bhutan. However, no complains on food. Staffs are not very responsive- they don't really care about customers but I don't mean that... It's pricy - sure - but what a gem this little place is! When you're on the way back down after finishing most of the arduous trek up and back from the Tiger's Nest, a nice hot plate of dal bhat and a warm cup of coffee will be ALL you can think about (not Ngultrum). ESPECIALLY if you get... More

We trekked to the Tiger's nest in June 2015 and were told the cafeteria marks the halfway point. On reaching the cafe, we helped ourselves to tea and biscuits at a price. We also booked lunch on our return but it did not seem reasonable by the cost. All in all, a pleasant cafe for tea and rest....

Cafeteria simply loots money , there is absolutely no control on the price. They ask for 75% more than printed price. Located on the halfway mark to Taktsang monastery and good place to take some rest . But I suggest travellers to carry their own food from Paro market.

Food was really served hot though the weather was cold and no heater inside. The quality was good too.

Must stop place if you are visiting Tiger's Nest, From the cafeteria you can see the monastery and the view is just breathtaking. The food is good too though the service is a bit slow. My only Gripe is that the charges for basic food items (tea, cofee etc) is almost thrice than the usual charges.

Perfectly placed to stop for a coffee on your way up to the monastery. Relax a while if you can because you are entitled to a break and the views are pretty impressive.

This place is located about 60% way on the trek to Tiger Nest Monestary. The view is really great. It is operated by Bhutan Tourism Corporation. They offer a great resting place after an arduous trek, nice coffee, but super expensive @ 120 INR. On our way back we planned to have lunch there, but it seems you need to... More
