This is the only restaurant to have a nice tea stop when you are ascending the Taktsang and then to have a small Bhutanese buffet lunch on the way down. The food is pretty ordinary though. The view of Taktsang from the terrace is great so it was nice to have tea there.

This is a vegetarian restaurant with buffet option. Not much choice but good enough to fill your hungry stomach after the hike. And, you still can look back to the Tiger's Nest monastery while enjoying the meal.

The food was not up to the mark, Rs 470 for a buffet which had very less options but then you will hardly feel that after a tiring day. yes they allow you to rest there for long and that is the best part

A place to rest after a very tiring climb - both up and down. Don't stop on your way up. Very very expensive - Rs.150/- for a cup of bad coffee.

I overpaid my check by accident and the manager pointed out my error and made me take back the excess money I left on the counter. This would not have happened in NY.

The only cafeteria on the way up to the Tigers Nest, it is a good stop for drinks and snack on the way to or down from the Monastery. They also serve hot vegetarian buffet lunch durinf noon time. The views from the cafe are awesome and they have both out door and indoor seating.

Great location with a great view of the monastery. It is clean and the folks are friendly. Had tea and biscuits on the way up and it is well suited for a pit stop as it has toilets in the back. Apparently they serve a buffet for lunch but we headed to a local farm house after our visit to... More

Well, after the first leg of the hike the cafe sure comes as a pleasant break. Have its unappetizing coffee with complimentary biscuits while you catch your breath and take in the scenery and the views of Taktsang Monastry. Its also the only proper pit-stop for the ladies :-)!

This cafe is located mid distance from Tiger's Nest. You can have way tea/coffee and biscuits on your way up and lunch on your way down. Do let them know that you will be stopping for lunch or your guide can do it for you. Lunch is vegetarian, tasty and hot. There are rest rooms and benches to strech out.... More
