The food is excellent, though a bit pricey. The chef with the twirling knives and spatulas makes this a fun event as well as great food for the whole family. A very entertaining adventure. I think the cultural aspect suffers from not having all-Japanese chefs.

Liked that you can choose between the sushi bar or you can do the community grill. Also the choices were varied in both prices and combinations of food. They real fun came later in the evening when Karaoke was offered, check the days they offer it it was my understanding Karaoke is not offered every night.

I really love this place for numerous reasons but let's just say they have the best fried rice this side of the Pacific!

Fun place to go with a group. Entertaining for a special occasion. Way to expensive for the amount and quality of food you get. Have only been there once and much prefer Benihana's at Vallco.

We had a group of about 25 folks visit Kyoto Palace following a day of meetings. We had a reservation at 7:00 PM, but arrived a little early to enjoy a little social time in the bar. We were seated right away at 7:00 and our server was quickly and cheerfully taking our orders. Most of the group at our... More

Went with family. Everyone had fun. Took advantage of happy hour. Our guy "Jose" was really funny and entertaining. Staff great. Food great. Price little high but worth it with happy hour.

My husband, mother and I went to Kyoto for a change of pace & all had great food & a fun evening. We loved how the chef "played" with the egg and onions and the food was really delicious. I would recommend this restaurant for large groups & birthday parties as they typically seat 8 persons per table.

This was my first ever visit to a Japanese restaurant, and I loved the experience of the cook cooking the meal in front of us.
