Old school Campbell eats

My goto late night munchies spot.  Great old style taco joint.  A serious dive. Inexpensive overall.  Not much indoor seating, but fun all the same. Tip: tostada Tuesday - they are yummy! TIP:  taco Thursday - tacos are are 99 cents

I had the Super Nacho's. They are fantastico. I and my girlfriend went to this place on Wednesday evening, and well worth the food and price. The Nacho's are totally SUPER. Enough for two small eaters. However, I am a big eater. This filled me up without issue. Eat here; I noticed they had an earlier review in 2011. If... More

The Taco Bravo came in a crispy shell and had ground beef, lettuce, sour cream and lots of shredded cheese. The mini nacho Bravo was good also however the chips were not anything special. Overall a pretty good taco and burrito joint for relatively cheap.

So, I have had this place when I was little with my dad and its is still the same (not a bad thing). When you want to be really full for stupid cheap prices, go here. This place is nowhere near healthy but if you are a regular you obviously don't care. Also, there are those that just got done... More

Warning: If you go to Taco Bravo, you're likely to come away mad. Either because you can't believe anyone would eat at this aged fast food taco joint or because you're addicted, and you find yourself hopping in a car post-midnight to chomp down on a taco deluxe or a "green with". It's like politics in this country, there's a... More

This place has been here as long as I can remember. I used to work in Campbell and often ate lunch here. After I moved out of town I would try to sneak over when I would be visiting. There is just something about the taste of Taco Bravo that can not be duplicated. This is not a fancy place,... More

We have had food on two occassions. Both times we had to throw out what we got. There was too much cheese and beans in all the vegetarian items. Even the nachos had a load of cheese that is made the whole thing soggy with so much jalapenos. Experience both times were the same. I think they might be better... More

Technically, this review is for the San Jose location at 5469 Snell Avenue San Jose, CA 95123 but TripAdvisor doesn't seem to have heard of it. Same company, whatever. Do you like Taco Bell? Well, Taco Bravo has big portions, higher quality ingredients, and is generally cheap. By item, it's a little more, but by meal, it's a way better... More

Whay can I say about this place? I ate there 4 times in a four day stay. Obviously, I loved it. It's one of those locals places that I like to search out when traveling. The place that you'd never stop at unless someone recommended it. If your looking for atmosphere and a Zagat rated dining experience, this isn't it.... More
