We have eaten at many Applebee's and have found to be quite adequate for our needs. The main drawbackI is many of them have turned into a "sports bar atmosphere" and therefore quite noisy for casual dinning. Also I wish they would serve breakfast. This location in Cameron Park has a quieter environment and you can carry on a conversation... More

Yes, it is a chain and for the most part the food is consistent and the dishes I have had are always good. The service is lacking a bit, while the folks (kids) are friendly, just not to attentive. Maybe the part of the problem was we came on a Sunday afternoon at 3ish, seemed to close to shift change.... More

The staff was the highlight of this restaurant. Excellent service, courtesy and esprit de corps. Everyone enjoyed their food. I had a melted cheese sandwich, tomato soup, and a very good deal on a brownie and ice cream dessert. All good. More vegetarian options would be appreciated.

Stopped by for a late dinner. Pretty good amount of people. Decent time getting us seated. The time it took to take our order wasn't bad either. I ordered fish and chips. Easy enough. Things arrived in a decent time, so service was not an issue at all. The food was. The fish was soaked in oil. The batter was... More

I and five other famiy members went to Applebee's for lunch on Sunday, Nov. 10, to celebrate two family birthdays. The server was very helpful in describing the menu items and wanted to be sure that we were happy with the food we ordered. She was very patient with my ninety-year old parents. She even made a special effort to... More

Do not let your kids order the kid's sirloin. It was horrible and had it sent back for chicken fingers.

Yes, Applebee's is a chain restaurant like Sizzler, but it's a great place to either take the family or to hang out & watch the game while having a drink. It's not fancy, but it's clean, the service is friendly & helpful, the food & drinks are good, and their 2 for $20 deals are tasty and affordable. We go... More

I know that this is a chain restaurant, but they are so nice and well trained that the staff makes this location fell like a family-owned place to eat. The quality of the wait staff makes it special. The menu is chain-restaurant-consistent and obviously well-tested to be successful and tasty. The specials are varied and reasonably priced. The quality of... More

Applebees is like McDonalds. It is consistent. Nice comfortable bar surrounded by dining tables. Good flat screen TV. Polite and efficient wait staff.

This location looks just like all the others in the chain. The menu is the same, but the folks who run it forgot about customer service. There were four of us dining. The appetizer came 25 minutes after we ordered and only two minutes before entrees... but only three entrees. The last meal came after the three of us lucky... More
