What a neat find! Stopped in Cambria for some gas as we headed South to Santa Monica. We were hungry so we stopped in at the Old Stone Station. The food was excellent. The beef dip is big and the burgers are home made (and large as well). Get the cross-cut fries; they are really tasty. Staff was very friendly.... More

Had a nice little table outside on the patio allowing us to people watch as we ate. Was told they are known for their clam chowder - was very good. Unfortunately they were out of their bread bowls, but they gave me a nice sourdough roll instead. Husband had their fish and chips and enjoyed that as well. Nice and... More

I loved the Clam Chowder in a bread bowl and completely enjoyed the atmosphere. The best was the mirror in the lady's room...LOL

A late lunch due to seeing the elephant seals but a great lunch! We were the last customers but the waiters didn't try to rush us. The fish, chowder & fries were excellent. . .served fresh from the fryer. Our 8-year-old devoured the oysters! Really friendly staff.

Walked into this somewhat funky quaint old-town charming restaurant to be met by a server who asked us to wait until a table became available. Took about 15 minutes with no drinks offered or anything else. OK so far. Did not faze us. We then were seated by a very friendly gentleman who procured some decent wine and a perfectly... More

Outstanding gourmet meals! Prices are moderate and very reasonable. Warm welcoming service and cozy relaxing environment.Usually I like to explore new places and opportunities but if I visit Hearst Castle again I won't look for any other place to have a great dinner :)

We ate here (two adults, a 3 year old and a dog) on the recommendation of the Cambria Shores Inn. We were not disappointed. There is a lovely little covered patio which accommodates guests with dogs and the owner kindly moved a space heater close to our table (it was a bit cool) Service was very good and the owner... We had a nice lunch here. Good clam chowder and Chinese Chicken Salad. Quiet and nicely decorated. Fair prices and good service.

I know that it's a tourist area so prices are bound to be exaggerated but they even charge for water (35 cents per cup). The fish and chips were good. Clam chowder was tasty. Breaded calamari was chewy and large pieces with a heavy horseradish sauce. We were seated on the top floor of the restaurant and it was a... More

My husband and I ate at the Old Stone Station when we stayed in the area. We both had one of the fresh fish specials of the day and they were excellent. The owner and waitress were friendly and offered suggestions.
