Arrived at Medusa's Taqueria 20 minutes before closing. We were hungry and tired after driving from Monterey Bay, visiting Pfeiffer State Beach, and checking in at our hotel in San Simeon. Despite the late hour the staff welcomed us in and insisted that we take our time to order and enjoy our meal. The shrimp tacos and butternut squash enchiladas... More

The atmosphere was a bit funky but we had open minds so we gave it a chance. Staff was nice but after she took our order she also got herself a burrito and sat down at the next table to eat. Her back was turned towards us and she never checked on us. We had the veggie burritos. Tasted OK... More

This is a tiny place with only 5 tables indoors and some bar stools outside. Very good basic Mexican food. We had seafood enchiladas which actually had a lot of seafood (shrimp and crab) inside. Service (by the owner I assume) was very friendly. Lots of take-out customers. If you just crave Mexican food and don't mind a very simple... More

This is an unassuming little restaurant which is a gem of a find. We had checked the TripAdvisor ratings and our conclusion is that Medusa’s is much better than its rating if you like really authentic Mexican food. My wife & I arrived for a late supper at about 7:30. There are only about 6 tables and some barstool type... More

Food and service are both better here than at Las Cambritas, and the prices are way lower. This is an "authentic" Mexican Taqueria -- the decor is what one would expect. It's not fancy, but it is good, fast, inexpensive and authentic.

We were looking for a nice Mexican Cafe in Cambria for lunch and have eaten at Medusa"s before. We both got the Burritos, one regular and one Super, both with carnitas (pork). They were delicious! And quite inexpensive. Really great food with chips and a great salsa. Several hours later we both started feeling queazy and nauseated with vomiting. That... More

Tried Medusas last week in Cambria and we loved the food. There were a lot of locals eating there so we knew the food would be good. Their salsa is wonderful. I ordered chilli rellenos....terrific dish. My friends ordered tacos I believe. The atmosphere is modest, the restaurant is small but the host/server is very pleasant and helpful. For inexpensive,... Great small place. The food was awesome, full of flavor and spice.. Not a blue plate no "true mexican food flavor" place.. had a great combo meal and a Pacifico and I thought I was home in San Diego. Would have tried the breakfast burrittos if I had stayed longer. Very small place, good food" to go "setting unless you... More

This place is small so be prepared to stand or take it with you if they are busy. But the food is worth hanging around for. Really fresh, hot and served quickly. The server was really friendly as well.
