Solid Mexican Fare

This is not a fancy restaurant - more of a dive but the food is solid and reasonably priced. The combo platter with enchiladas and tamales was very good - helped by a nice red sauce. For dessert we ordered the flan which was smooth and creamy. The food came out lightning fast.

We were in Cambria for one night on our way up to San Francisco and had dinner here. It was so tasty, the staff were very friendly and the price was very good! Would definitely recommend!

We have gone here twice now and not disappointed. The food is great and the staff is friendly. The price is reasonable for what you get.

Our tour of the Hearst Castle (a few miles north of Cambria, California) ended around 1:30 and we were hungry. My wife found Medusa's on her phone and the reviews were good, so we gave it a try. It's a charming but unpretentious little place with just four or five tables, but midafternoon we were able to be seated right... More

A dinner here was one of the best meal's we had on our road trip. A basic but friendly place, simple decor, and great food. If you're staying in Sam Simeon come into town for a meal at Medusa's, you won't regret it.

My wife and I drove up from LA today and are staying the night in Cambria. We found this little Mexican restaurant with great food. The beef enchiladas were the best I have ever had, the prices were very reasonable, and the service great. Definitely worth a try.

We stopped in for a early dinner after being on the road all day. The place is small and very traditionally Mexican. The waitress was welcoming and the food came out quickly. Nothing fancy, just good Mexican food . The bill for my husband and I was a mere $20 dollars. Probably the least expensive meal we had on our... More

From a real Mexican the food is excellent. Totally authentic. As soon as they brought the salsa I said to my husband oh yes. This is the real mole. Muy sabrosa !

Stopped there several years ago and make this a must stop every time I am in the area. Tiny hole-in-the-place, but outstanding food. Very small- right on Main st, as you are leaving or entering town. Breakfast/lunch or dinner try them all.
