Cozy and Good Food

Found the prices better here than at other restaurants in town. Good coffee. There is patio seating in back and they let dogs on the patio, which is nice. Portions sizes are generous. We ate there for breakfast. Wish I would have known about this place earlier. Would have liked to try lunch... read more

We were there for breakfast and informed that due to a water shortage, water was only available in bottles. Having experienced $5.00 bottled water in Las Vegas, we passed. Only when we left did we learn that the water bottles (16oz )were 50 cents!! Other restaurants in the area had signs at the tables indicating that bottled water was available... More

They do a great huevos rancheros, have a light touch with the omelettes, really good house sausage, great pancakes, endless cups of coffee and some nice fruit options. The eggs were overcooked on the benedict, and they use ham, not Canadian Bacon, but according to my husband, with enough hollandaise it was still an acceptable offering. On a busy morning,... More

What a sweet little place but no creek in view. The food was really very good except I had a homemade buttermilk biscuit and it was way over worked. The garden omelet was incredible and the home fries are really tasty, with peppers and onions in them. I was just so put off by the biscuit I couldn't even think... More

We usually order the Garden Scramble. It is always made with fresh vegetables and served with country potatoes, and your choice of homemade muffins, biscuits or toast. They have a very extensive breakfast menu including oatmeal, pancakes, several omelettes, and scrambles. You can even order a small omelette if you aren't up for a full size one.

This OVERPRICED coffee shop serves up breakfast that I would describe as "Ok", nothing more and nothing less. I certainly wouldn't call it a value for the money. I was amused and then irritated when we requested a glass of water while we reviewed the menu and was given a lecture about it being only fair that they sell us... More

There about 7 to 8 places in Cambria that serve traditional American breakfast. Creekside Garden restaurant is the one we went to today. I ordered the two eggs with sausage, potatoes and toast and jelly and it was good, pretty much like every other decent egg breakfast . Because this town is so small we have walk the entire length... Hubby and I visit Cambria quite often. Last year our entire family rented a house near the beach and camped out for a longer period of time than usual. After several days, our house food supplies were running low, so our entire group all piled in the car and drove into town here for breakfast. Hubby and I had eaten... More
