The first time I visited Cambria was about 15 years ago. We lucked into finding the Creekside Cafe, now called Creekside Gardens. We had a nice breakfast and were encouraged to return that evening for the restaurant's transformation into "Creekside de Noche" when they offered a variety of authentic Mexican dishes. We were very pleased but that was a long... more

We stopped at the Creekside Gardens for Breakfast on our recent trip and it was great, great omlettes, great eggs, great orange juice, great service. Will definitely go back for breakfast or lunch when we revisit in the fall. Really casual, outdoor and indoor dining, really great! Thumbs Up! more

I would HIGHLY recommend eating breakfast here. The french toast was by far the best I have ever had, and I am very picky about food. I'm not sure about lunch or dinner due to the other reviews I have read, but the breakfast was awesome! more

Very pleasant and unpretentious -- breakfast, lunch and dinner. Moderately priced (less than most in the area) with good service and quality sea food. Your host Ramon and the cook Ferderico will please your palette as well as your wallet :) Located on Main just West of Burton and East of the Blue Bird, but it's at the back of... more

This not California Mex but food is great. More like what you would get in Guadalajara or somewhere deep in Mexico. There salsa is really a fresca but is so good you can eat it by the spoonful and put it on everything. Great Chili dishes. Super fresh. Cook only uses one kind of cheese-very Mexican. Highly recommend for a... more

My husband and my son (3 years) stumbled across the Creekside while parking our car off the main street in Cambria. The wonderful smells coming from inside were beckoning us. I had the Mexican Pizza, my husband had the taco salad and my son had the old standby grilled cheese and fries. Our food was fabulous. Portions are huge and... more

My wife and I stopped into Cambria to take a look around on our way to Hearst Castle. When we arrived, we decided to get a light lunch. After looking at a few menus outside restaurants, we finally settled on the Creekside Gardens Cafe as they offered a half-sandwich with either soup, salad or potato salad for a reasonable price... more

Great casual cafe in Cambria. One of the few places open past 9pm on a week night and with a good sized parking lot. Everything on the menu was under $12. I had the chili verde dinner and my husband had the carne asada dinner, each only $9.50 and included rice, beans, and homemade tortillas (the corn tortillas were fresh... more
