Out dinner could have been much better. I had the pulled pork sandwich which was just o.k. My wife had tri tip sandwich which was a little dry, could have used a little bit more B.B.Q. sauce. They put avocado on my wife's sandwich then removed most of it. Luckily my wife is not allergic. The restaurant was just dirty. On... More

Just ate lunch at the Main Street Grill in Cambria, which is a sister grill to the Doghouse Grill in Fresno and the Firestone Grill in SLO. The food is similar which is decent grilled burgers, tritip sandwiches, fries, etc. However the prices here seem higher than the sister establishments and are 'in my humble opinion' NOT worth the prices!... Good selection for a family. Menu prices have changed (higher). Service was pretty quick. Only bottled water (no self serve cups) but other fountain drinks available. Nothing special to want to be a repeat visitor without trying out other places in Cambria

We had an AWESOME meal here. Knowing nothing of the Cambria area we simply went to have lunch and were super pleased. The tri-tip sandwich is AWESOME and the side orders (salads/fries) are HUGE. Decent value and a super casual, watch a game, family friendly joint. Well done!

Food is delicious! We ate here twice during our 2 day trip. Due to severe water shortage though bathrooms are not in use (outhouses are provided).

Not your standard sit down and eat restaurant. Pick a table, place your order up at the counter and wait for your number to be called. Get excited though, because the food you collect when your number gets yelled is simply delicious. Myself and a friend had the Tri Trip Steak - amazing. Huge portions - we shared a side... More

Good place to eat. Had the fish and chips. Piping hot and delicious. Beware though - they only accept cash. No credit cards. There is a water shortage in the county so the bathrooms are porta potties outside. I assume that is true for every restaurant in town.

The tri tip sandwich is amazing! This restaurant is casual and offers a decent selection. Ribs were just okay but I hear the burgers are great! Due to the water shortage they had port-a- potties out back....not very clean! I had my own sanitizer with me which I used liberally after that experience. Go earlier in the evening, place closes... We ate here while staying in San Simeon. The menu is basic and reasonably priced given the location. We chose this location because they had TVs and our hotel didn't have the NHL playoffs. We stayed for over three hours watching the game and they made us feel welcome the whole time.
