We have often complained that there are NO good restaurants in Cambria. We have tried them all! On this trip, as before, we noticed all the restaurants have the same dated, something-for-everyone menu (every menu has a salad with candied walnuts and blue cheese, every menu has fried calamari, salmon, a Thai-flavored this or that, etc.) It seems like they... Sat on the outdoor patio and watched the sunset. Food was fantastic. Highly recommend this restaurant. Especially great that it's walking distance from all the Moonstone Beach Hotels.

Great place to grab a quick bite. Inside was rather stuffy, so we decided to eat outside. We had a very hard time finding a table without bird droppings. Still, a good place to grab something quick.

Cambria is one of our favorite places to relax. We usually stay on Moonstone Beach where there are only two restaurants. The Moonstone Beach Bar and Grill is one of them and a very good choice for dinning on the patio (they do have indoor dinning as well) with a clear view of the Pacific Ocean. My wife and I... More

great view, poor service and a very shoddy meal. Overcooked, too hot (so it carried on cooking), very poorly seasoned. they take advantage of the fact that they are one of only two on the beach road. take a drive into town and go to The Sows Ear; great service, great little restaurant with magnificent food.

We have enjoyed coming to Moonstone Beach Bar & Grill for quite a few years. Love sitting outside on the patio looking at the ocean! The food is wonderful and I have never had a bad meal. Also, staff is very friendly and service is great!

Stopped in for brunch on a Sunday after visiting the Hearst Castle. Even after 1pm there was a short wait of 20 minutes or so. We had a nice table outside with a view of the Pacific. Umbrellas helped keep the sun away. We opted for the brunch items...I got the Eggs Benedict and my girlfriend the fist tacos. Neither... More

Near to San Simeon, AKA the Hearst Castle, the Moonstone Beach Bar & Grill offers mostly big sandwiches and tacos. The view from the outdoor tables is marvelous, and the smell of the sea and seaweed strong in the air. Sunsets here would be great. The food is good, mostly tacos and Mexican oriented dishes and sandwiches. I enjoyed my... More
