We are not connoisseurs of fine dining. This place was great. We wanted something different but tasty and filling. We went to lunch and decided to order some appetizers to share between us. The salmon bisque was a wonderful experience. I didn't expect it to enjoy it so much but we both did. The crab cakes were outstanding. Good flavors... More

I was beginning ti dispair of finding really good and interesting food in this small town---but tonight Robin's came through in spades! Crab cakes were probably the finest I have ever eaten. The lamb curry was perfect and the beet salad was delish! Ask about the oven roasted orange slices. I look forward to returning but could not say that... More

I went to dinner and variety is certainly on the menu. tried their "famous" salmon bisque which was very salmony and delicious. I had the morrocan duck for main which was well cooked, tender juicy and tasty. I also ordered the baby beet salad but couldnt really fit it in. many heirloom type baby beets, classic purple was in the... More

After taking the night tour of Hearst Castle, we stopped by Robin’s Restaurant which was recommended by our B&B hosts. The cuisine is very “worldly” – spanning from Latin America to Asia to Europe, and even some locals preparations. My wife had the Thai choice and I the Latin American. Both selections were very good and quite filling, and accompanied... More

My husband and I went for lunch. I loved that there were several vegetarian options including a soup. My husband ordered the special which was shrimp pasta. Our waitresses made great recommendations and was very attentive. We will definitely be back!

We had not eaten at Robin's for a few years and back then it was for lunch. This time we went for dinner on a rainy Halloween night. We sat in a covered patio section attached to the main restaurant house. It is a charming place, quiet enough for conversation. Creative menu options, tending a bit to the Asian influence,... More

When my wife and I go to Cambria for some R&R, we always return to Robins either for lunch or dinner. Cuisine is always well prepared and service is always top notch. For lunch, I generally have their homemade signature soup, Lobster Bisque as an accompaniment to my meal or as an entree because it has such a wonderful flavor... More

I ordered the New York steak medium rare and it came to me well done. I sent it back and received a steak that was thin, tough, and not seasoned at all. Broccoli was burned and bitter. We ordered dessert and the chef burned the brulee. I mean, torched black. Waitress brought it out and served it anyway. I took... More

This is a warm and cozy restaurant with a menu ranging from Indian and Thai dishes to California cuisine. We had pork roast with sage stuffing and roast vegetables and apples, delicious, and scallops with shortribs with a Japanese sesame glaze. Delicious.
