Robin's has a great nice but casual atmosphere. It has a rustic charm about it with lots of wood and country type of decor but classy country, not cheesy country. I think I remember tablecloths and cloth napkins but many people wearing "nice casual" clothes. Not an evening dress or suit kind of place. The lighting is soft. There are... more

We heard good reports about Robin's and were looking forward to trying it. The electricity went off in the village and they were working by candlelight and a generator. The staff worked around this very well. We both ordered baby back ribs. The meal was VERY disappointing. The ribs were very ordinary and they served it with kale which had... more

After reading the other reviews here and on the advice of a friend we visited Robin's on our trip to Cambria and Hearst Castle. Service was slow and we had to ask the host several times to get server to come to our table. Took almost 30 minutes to get a bottle of wine. The food was good but nothing... more

If you like fresh food and an eclectic menu, check out Robin's. My wife had the lobster enchiladas and I had the wild salmon with herb butter. Both were great and so was the creme brulee for dessert. They also had special menus for Sundays along with live music. I have been to Cambria twice and this may be the... more

My friend and I stumbled on Robin's because some of the other restaurants were closed down down for the evening in the area (around 8:30 pm or so) - what a happy mistake! Our server was very courteous and nice and didn't rush us at all. And the food was just great - I ordered a gnocchi that was made... more

The title sums it up. Hard to pick out anything outstanding to comment on, but overall a great night out. In fact 2 nights out in 3 days. It was so good we went back for our last meal in Cambria. We liked the mix of US and World cuisine. We had all three courses, which is a bit unusual... more

We were staying one night in Cambria and this restaurant was recommended to us by the front desk where we were staying. Everything we had was so flavorful and fresh. It seemed that most restaurants in the area were on the pricey side but we were very happy with the unique, well prepared meal we had at Robin's. The lamb... more

I had lunch with friends in Robin's Restaurant earlier this month, sitting in the garden, and it was a delightful and memorable experience. The chicken curry was excellent, as was the dessert, and the wine list is enormous. I'd be most pleased to return to Robin's when I can. I am impressed that they are open every day but Christmas.... more

the food was good, not GREAT the atmosphere was a bit mellow and quiet, not a fun place..which is what we were looking for, so i was a bit disapointed. i dont think that Cambria and Nightlife should ever be used in the same sentence.... pretty laid back town! I got the portabello lasagne which was just okay... and my... more

Robin's is our favorite restaurant in Cambria. They use fresh, local ingredients for their eclectic menu items. We are vegetarians and can always find several delicious options here. The service is excellent and the ambience is very warm and inviting. more
