No reservations so you must line up in the parking lot. Not a problem, since so many travelers and locals like to talk!

Great food, long waiting unless you make reservations. They only take cash so make sure you have it. Easy walk from Cambria Shores Inn.

Very good , fun restaurant. no reservations taken so be prepared for a long wait at this very popular , well located restaurant. We waited an hour, but walked the beautiful beach and watched the sun go down,

An overnight stay at the hotel next door to the Sea Chest prompted us to have dinner there - we were not disappointed! Judging by how many people were already eating in the restaurant and having drinks in the garden waiting to be served we though we would be in a for a long wait, which we decided would be... More

You must know that they only accept cash or checks no credit cards. Also no reservations and liquor, only wine or beer. Excellent seafood, good service. Have been 3 times, not sure it is worth the wait anymore.

Beautiful setting. While waiting for our table we enjoyed a bottle of wine outside fireside. Our seafood dinners were so fresh and delicious.

We had high hopes for the Sea Chest and it mostly lived up to them. We knew the wait would be long so we put our name on the list and went back to our motel till they said they were ready. The atmosphere is very warm with numerous small seating areas. The staff is obviously well trained and keeps... More

This was one of the most pleasant meals I have had. I did my research before coming here so I knew that the wait can be INSANE and they ONLY accept cash! Since I was traveling solo, I decided to wait until after the sun set to enjoy my dinner. Not one to like sitting at a table alone, I... More

They do not accept credit card and no reservation either. So you have to have cash and ready to wait for long long time. I think we waited over one hour. However worth it. The boiled fresh sea food is really tasty. I had mahi mahi and my husband had linguine with clam. They serve warm sour dough bread to... More
