Recommend sitting out on the patio for breakfast or dinner. The private fireplace shelters are amazing on a nice summers evening. The food is great. Service top notch. Seasonal specials make it all the more enjoyable.

Average breakfast. Better than conventional breakfast. Worst than some hotel I stayed before which provide warm breakfast.

Had dinner and found the place jus what we needed. Service was first rate and quick. Food was served hot and tasty. Prices seems a bit out of line, but not obscene. Great place for a romantic dinner.

The plastic table cloths didn't bode well. The food was stodgy and bland. Although we were only one of two couples in the restaurant, service was patchy.

Our tablecloths are not plastic; they are vinyl-coated cloth and cost a pretty penny. They are part of our casual lodge-style atmosphere. We're sorry you perceived them in a different way than intended. We hope to have an opportunity to provide a better experience the next time you are in Cambria. More

Very dated lodging, although for the price on the Cali coast, probably not a bad deal. The linens are very low end and scratchy. No air which is usually not needed there but during hotter times can be stifling. The breakfast buffet is included and is actually pretty good. Sit on the open patio and enjoy the sunshine and the... We ate outside by the fireplace , it started getting cold . We asked three times if they would turn on the gas heater . After the third time the waitress said the heater does not work . Ate there next day and it was working , I don't think she wanted to light it . Food was fantastic .

Stopped there for lunch, they served Red Snapper fish and chips! Best tasting fish I ever ate! The Frye's were done with skins on and were so flavorful! This was not frozen fish, it was fresh! I plan to have that again next time I go to Cambria!

My wife and I were visiting family in the Cambria area and we decided to give the Pines a try since we had not been here in many years. The food was very good overall however, the $18 chinese chicken salad is way overpriced and many items are "cajun inspired" with no warning on the menu. My wife initially got... More

We had a lovely anniversary dinner here while staying at the CPL. Our waitress was great and the meal was excellent...both my filet and my husbands New York steak were cooked perfectly. Love the fresh local veggies and had the crab cake appetizer which was delicious. Finished with the creme brulle for dessert which the restaurant provided for our anniversary.... More

My wife and I have been to Cambria a number of times but just recently decided to eat at the Pines Lodge Restaurant. The restaurant has a nice lodge style decor and beautiful walk through gardens. There is an outside dinning area as well. Now to the food. We were less than impressed with our meal although it was satisfactory.... More
