We ate outside by the fireplace , it started getting cold . We asked three times if they would turn on the gas heater . After the third time the waitress said the heater does not work . Ate there next day and it was working , I don't think she wanted to light it . Food was fantastic .

Stopped there for lunch, they served Red Snapper fish and chips! Best tasting fish I ever ate! The Frye's were done with skins on and were so flavorful! This was not frozen fish, it was fresh! I plan to have that again next time I go to Cambria!

My wife and I were visiting family in the Cambria area and we decided to give the Pines a try since we had not been here in many years. The food was very good overall however, the $18 chinese chicken salad is way overpriced and many items are "cajun inspired" with no warning on the menu. My wife initially got... More

We had a lovely anniversary dinner here while staying at the CPL. Our waitress was great and the meal was excellent...both my filet and my husbands New York steak were cooked perfectly. Love the fresh local veggies and had the crab cake appetizer which was delicious. Finished with the creme brulle for dessert which the restaurant provided for our anniversary.... More

My wife and I have been to Cambria a number of times but just recently decided to eat at the Pines Lodge Restaurant. The restaurant has a nice lodge style decor and beautiful walk through gardens. There is an outside dinning area as well. Now to the food. We were less than impressed with our meal although it was satisfactory.... More

The prime rib is one of the best I have had. Thick slice and mouth watering. Also the filet mignon is the tops. I always go back and forth on which to choose. Many other selections but those are my tops. Yummy.

The restaurant is good, but expensive. For less, you can find a better place to eat in Cambria. It is convenient to walk over to it, but it is a little boring to the pallet.

We loved it. We had great wine and seafood. Finally after a little too much of "junk" food. The service was great even though we had a grumpy little one that did not want to have anything. Cosy and nice.

fantastic atmosphere - we sat in the covered huts with the artistic fireplace. Delicious steaks & polite friendly waiter who screwed up a bit. Like my title spelling - it delivered despite minor flaw.

We try to go to Cambria at least a couple of times a year and our favorite restaurant is at Cambria Pines Lodge. Rustic and quaint with pictures and mementos on the walls of the area when William Randolph Hearst ruled the Central Coast, is the perfect setting to enjoy fine dining. You can sit inside or out on the... More
