We've been in before but apparently since that time they had a fire and completely restored the place. It's much better - very charming, cozy, lots of interesting things to look at. We chose a meditteranean chicken dinner ($16) and a meatloaf dinner ($15), both of which came with either a risotto or mashed potato and a wonderful side of sauteed vegetables. The food was fresh and delicious. Service was excellent, ambiance nice, and the housemade pies were delicious, too. more

Visited Linns for first time, around 8.30 on a Sunday evening - most other restaurants in Cambria seemed to be closed. Was welcomed, restaurant not busy and service was good. After the fire, they took the opportunity to "upgrade" the menu. Unfortunate. Average food, average service, very high prices. My wife's beef and noodles dish was $18 and cold on arrival. My husband and I ate here once before in September 2001 and LOVED IT. In fact, when we planned this Ca. coastline vacation, I KNEW we would go back to Linn's! The wait for the food was overly long. Especially while sitting with young children. One order had the wrong soup served with it. Another order, which stated rare tri-tip, the meat was grey with grizzle.
