While visiting Cambria, my family and I decided give The Tea Cozy a try. It's located in the quaint 1870's Thorndyke House on Bridge Street. It offers a wide array of teas as well as sandwich and dessert options. I ordered the Savory Sausage Roll which came with fresh fruit and choice of soup or salad. I chose salad with... More

We British ex-pats are choosy about our tea and scones, and this charming tea room did not disappoint! We booked to come and the owner, knowing we were from the UK, had the chef bake a fresh batch of scones just in case. I loved my Darjeeling with scones and jam and clotted cream, and my husband was in heaven... More

One of our personal favorites for an authentic tea experience is the Tea Cozy. The selection of teas is very broad including darjeeling, black, and herb teas. The assorted treats are always well prepared. Scones changed a bit since our previous visit but they still arrive at table fresh from the oven. Very intimate space but great for meeting other... Have dined at the Tea Cozy many times. The food is always excellent and beautifully prepared. Original entrees, soups, and deserts never fail to please. An excellent selection of teas. Beautiful garden patio for dining or quaint turn of the century home.

Went here for lunch it was delicious. The tea was perfectly made and a great complement to the sandwiches and sweets. The scone was more like a biscuit but delicious with the clotted cream and jam. The egg salad was so yummy. The atmosphere was very calm and wonderful for sitting and reading for a peaceful hour.

We hadn't been back to the Tea Cozy in a few years, but it was just as good when we returned recently on our way to Hearst Castle. They still serve traditional afternoon tea (we had it at 11:00 in the morning) and you can get the full traditional tea or a scaled down version with just sandwiches and scones... More

Went there for the first time last week. I have lived in Cambria 25 years very friendly excellent service and FINALLY found a burger cooked the way I wanted and still hot. The home made red pepper soup was excellent. I will definately be back maybe 2 or 3 times a week. Thanks!!!

Had lunch today at the Tea Cozy. What a pleasant experience. Spent a leisurely two hours - excellent selection of teas, yummy sandwich, and scones. Never felt rushed. Allowed time to visit with family and friend. If you want to eat quickly and jet out to do something else then this is not the location.

One of the few traditional English tea rooms I've come across in the area. Excellent food and great tea. Staff is quiet and leaves you alone plenty, but always around if you need them. They have a great three tier high tea tray with scones, tea sandwiches, fresh fruit and desserts ranging from biscuits to petit fours. Their English cheddar... More

I'm not a big tea drinker at all, but I wanted to try something new with a friend. I made reservations ahead of time and she needed handicap access. We went along the side where the ramp was, but the door was locked. I had to go in and ask them to open the door. Bathrooms are NOT handicap friendly!... More
