I recently visited Cambria and I tried out several restaurants. The tea cozy had reasonably good food. (I loved their tea sandwiches), but it was so expensive for what you got. I am in no way a cheapskate when it comes to good food, but my friend and I had a bill of almost $50 for just a small lunch... more

I was there at the end of August with my daughter and daughter-in-law. We had a lovely time having royal tea. The stilton chesse & fig sandwiches were so good, as were the scones and the tea The strawberry jam on the scones was to die for. The owner was very nice and even took our picture at the table.... more

Linn's was great, but it still had that "commercial" feel to it. Tea Cozy, right across the street at the end of the town center, is a small house converted into an English tea house. There are two dining rooms, each roughly the size of a standard dining room in your home or a large bedroom. In each dining room... more

We live two hours away from Cambria. Tea Rooms can intimidate men, but my husband and I had been here before-- a few years ago. The Royal Tea ($18.00) is a special treat for me. My husband appreciates more "manly" menu items, like the Ploughman's Lunch or the Pasties, which were very good. The pea soup was excellent. The service... more

Tea Cozy is definitely a friendly and great place to have tea and some tea sandwiches. Located in a small and cozy house converted into a tea house, Tea Cozy has some of the great tasting teas and foods to accompany the tea. Whether you want a relaxing tea like the Lavendar Tea or want something more with a kick... more

My husband and I travelled around California for two weeks in May 09 and paid a visit to the Tea Cozy in Cambria. My husband had found the restaurant on TA and I must admit that I was a bit reluctant to go as I thought it my be a bit "tacky" and not English at all. But we had... more

I'm not a big tea person but I read the tripadvisor reviews of this place and decided to try it out. Well, I'm glad I did because the service was outstanding and the tea was really good-I had the "apple crumb" tea - two pots of it - no kidding. Anyway, I took my mother there on Mother's Day and... more

I love having tea here--I've even had tea at the Dorchester in London, and I like these scones better! Great selection of teas, too. more

My parents, visiting from England, and I, 10 yrs in the bay area, loved this place. The service is excellent - courteous and friendly and the food was delicious. The tea cozy has created something here that is fast dying out in England and competes with the best of them for quality (scones, jam and cream to rival Chatsworth's finest).... more

My wife and I completely adored Tea Cozy. Barry is so nice and helpful, he makes everyone feel comfortable right away with no pretentiousness or airs. He gave us great suggestions from his large list of flavorful teas based on the types of tea we usually like. The food was great and plentiful. Who would have though tea, scones and... more
