Had the mushroom appetizer, great. Clam Chowder Soup, very good. 1/2 Rack of Pork Ribs, bone pulled out CLEAN. Sandwich all of that with FLOWER POT BREAD. Won't tell you how good it is, you have to experience it.

Enjoyed great, friendly service and excellent meals. Lobster Pot Pie, Grilled Pork Tenderloin both were treats. Quiet country ambience. Great value in the area. Seems like all the restaurants are similarly priced ($$$-$$$$) in this tourist town, so the quest is great food and service. Sow's Ear Cafe was a winner in our book for this recent trip.

The first evening we had chicken fried steak and fish stew. Both were wonderful. The steak was fork tender and the fish stew was so aromatic and fresh. The second evening we dined on a fish brochet and salmon. The service was very good and the prices were very affordable. The atmosphere was wonderful "small town" and quiet.

We were misled by our hotel who'd suggested it as a kid-friendly restaurant - it's a delightful upscale and cozy place for adults. That said, the staff went out of their way to accommodate us with a 7 year old and a 3 year old. Wonderful filet in Jack Daniels. Wonderful bread baked in flowerpots. Make reservations.

We always stop here when we come through Cambria. The restaurant is cozy, the staff is always friendly, and the food is great. It's a bit of a fancied-up country restaurant, although you wouldn't guess that from the decor. But the menu is full of things like lobster pot pie, filet mignon in a Jack Daniels + pancetta sauce, and... More

The Sow's Ear is a small Restaurant with an Inn Type dining room on Main St in Cambria. The fact that it was full on a chill Sunday night in March attests to it's quality. The meal starts with bread that was warm and fresh. The busy waitress, nonetheless, greeted with a sincere smile and welcome. A nice gesture much... More

I grew up in Cambria and have been to The Sow's Ear in the past but not since the original owners Barbara and Jim well over twenty years ago. The owners Micaela & Toni Garcia are amazingly gracious hosts and we had a wonderful meal, the atmosphere was perfect. Everything from the Lobster Pot Pie, Scampi, Salmon, Steak and my... More

Classic food. My partner and I took his parents here. We had a lovely, indulgent meal. Would definitely return.

Always top notch, we try and visit when in Cambria. It's our favorite place to dine when there. Food is great as is the service. The atmosphere is like no other in Cambria and adds to the charm of the town.
