6 of us for dinner at 7. No problem. I had the rack of lamb and a glass of wine. The lamb was up with the best I've ever had and the Zin suggested by our waitress was extremely good. Everyone claimed to enjoy their meal.

Service was nice, atmosphere was nice, but the food was really average. In fact the catfish was below average. It was very overcooked and there were more nuts smothering it then there was fish itself. Play it safe and ordered the perfectly fine but average short ribs.

We went there as we read the review were good. The food was just OK, my husband got the Grilled special and everything was overcooked, they brought bread once and never asked if we wanted more, we were sharing dishes due to be such big portions in the US they never asked whether we wanted another plate. The service took... More

We made reservations at the last minute and were so happy we went. We were seated in the back, and loved the atmosphere, Servers were helpful and friendly. The flowerpot bread is a nice touch and pretty yummy, warm out of the oven, The special was filet mignon, cooked perfect and delicious. My sister-in-law and I wanted to share a... More

I want to start my review by saying we had dinner at the Sow's Ear on a mid-Nov Sunday night. The cuisine preparation maybe better during the week. Let me start by saying the atmosphere and ambiance of the restaurant is warm and inviting. You feel welcomed and comfortable from the moment you walk through the door. My husband and... More

This restaurant was recommended by the Fogcather Inn front desk. Got lost initially trying to find the place but persevered and boy am I glad. Asked the waited for suggestions and he said the Beef Brisket and Chicken Fried Steak are their specialties. You rarely see either one of these items on a menu so we ordered both. I could... More

We've been coming to Cambria for several years and always have our anniversary dinner at Sow's Ear. The atmosphere is cozy. The staff are friendly and attentive. We usually get the early bird specials. Good value! The food is always yummy and hot. Make sure to save room for dessert.

Food and service is superb. Nice atmosphere too that is complimented by very friendly and courteous servers. Beef Stroganoff and Braised Short Rib are excellent entrees....very flavorful and the short rib is so tender. The short rib is accompanied with buttermilk mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables. Flour pot bread accompanies your meal and it is so deliiiiicious. The short rib... More

We tried this restaurant last year, so we decided to go back again. It's very cozy inside, and we've always had very good service. They have some items on their menu that you don't see other places, such as the Chicken and Dumplings. I had to give it a try and I'm glad I did. So good! (Definitely a splurge... More

The staff was excellent and the food was terrific. I wish we could have had dessert, but the dinner servings were so large we couldn't. 10 stars for the lobster pot pie!
