My wife & I came here for our 24th anniversary, and were not disappointed. The service was great, and the food was fabulous. I had the lobster pot pie, which was almost too rich for me to finish. My wife had the Fisherman's Stew, which was chocked full of seafood and delicious. Also, the tomato basil soup was wonderful. Our... More

The Sow's Ear was recommended by our hotel manager and I'm so glad she did! The service was excellent and friendly, the meal was superb (love the bread pot!) and the ambience was inviting, cozy and pleasant. Worth a stop in Cambria whether you're driving through or stopping for the night. Highly recommend!

After many years, I have come back to Cambria and had to eat at the Sow's Ear again. It was the same high quality food that I remember from my last visit. We made our selection from the early special menu. On my next visit, I will try something from the varied menu. The house wine was very acceptable. The... More

We found this place on our first anniversary trip ten years ago and it was as good this time as it was then. On the main street in town and well worth the trip

Had the Lobster Corn Dogs for an appetizer and Lobster Pot Pie for dinner. Both were very good. The pot pie had lots of lobster. The corn dogs were cool, three large lollipops on sticks with a nice aioli sauce. Very reasonably priced wine list. Service was great too.

After reading the review decided to go here while we were on vacation. The food was very average. We got the brie with almonds and that was just okay. The braised short ribs were so disappointing. They were so full of fat and the sauce that came with it was just okay. All you could taste was salt. Also got... More

We had a very good experience at the Sow's Ear. Very nice and attentive hostess. Very good and prompt service. Ample portions. We had an entrée of the mixed grill and it was very well prepared and more than enough. Quiet with a cozy atmosphere. The flower pot bread is unique and good. Will return.

We walked in to the place in the afternoon to make a reservation for later in the evening, and from there until the end of the meal the service was amazing. Goat cheese, kalamata, stuffed chicken breast was cooked to perfection, and the braised short ribs were melt in your mouth tender. Second time at the restaurant, and will definitely... More
