I live in Cambria and so have had the opportunity to visit West End Bar and Grill often. It's our "go to" place when we want fish and chips, which I feel are the best in Cambria. They have a menu of typical sandwich items like french dip, hamburgers, etc., plus salads and the typical grill foods. You won't find... More

Lots of locals eating and drinking there, which give it the stamp of approval. The problem? Understaffed. Locals are used to this, they get their own coffee re-fills and don't mind waiting for another cocktail. Why? It's the only full bar in town that serves a full menu. The food is good and the staff IS friendly, you're just going... More

Traveling with family and friends who selected this place. I wouldn't pick a bar for food but everyone enjoyed their meal. We tried the burger, fish and chips, salad, club sandwich and roast beef sandwich. Food was good. Friendly service. It is a small, dim bar, no surprise there, and was pretty low key when we had lunch. Not bad,... More

We were in nearby Templeton at Dancing Deer Farms for a family reunion and we visited Cambria after seeing the coast. We had a great family lunch here, and the clams, clam chowder (including the bread bowls), french dip, club sandwich, and breaded prawns were all delicious. It is a very relaxed atmosphere, sports on the televisions, and locals chatting... More

Cheers could have been filmed here as many locals gather here regularly. Awesome food with friendly service. Have already gone back for more. Got to try it.

Pretty basic menu and service. Liked the location on the West end of Cambria. Tried a combination sampler and was pretty basic. The chicken wings were very small and over cooked.

The halibut was fabulous! Nice thick chunks! Delicious! The clam chowder was good too, but everyone loved the halibut!

Don't be put off by the interior (it's nothing special). The service was fast. The coconut shrimp are the best in town. Check it out.

Was told at check-in at Fogcatcher's Inn that this place has THE BEST fish and chips in town. If that's true than this town has horrible fish and chips. We were greeted promptly and received our drinks quickly. However the fish was yucky--soggy and tasteless while the french fries were good. The service was lackluster. After dropping off the food... We had lunch here while staying in Cambria this past weekend. The steamed clams were excellent, as was the clam chowder. My husband loved their fish and chips! We definitely will go back. Nice atmosphere for adults.
