Crowded but Worth It

Had lunch there on a Wednesday with co-workers which is Tri-Tip Wednesdays. Luckily we got there just before 11 because it got pretty packed shortly after. Even with the crowd, the waitresses were still very friendly and attentive and the food came shortly after we ordered. Food was great and the... read more

Nice little cafe/diner that is located at the airport. Many pilots, private and military dine here. It is nice to see the planes take off and land. The menu is breakfast and lunch fare, with breakfast being served all day. They aren't open for dinner, just breakfast and lunch. The food portions are large and the food is really good.

The Waypoint Cafe is in an awesome location at the Camarillo Airport. The patio has great views of the tarmac. If you are a pilot or love planes you will love the sights and sounds. The food and service at the Waypoint are always excellent. The only problem is the place is consistently crowded and the wait times can be... More

This cafe is as close as you can get to the Camarillo airport (unless you are in a plane). You can eat on the patio outside and watch the planes land, or eat inside, on the frequently chilly early mornings in Camarillo. It was very crowded, but while waiting for a table, you can walk through the restaurant and watch... More

If you are in the Camarillo area, do yourself a favor and go to the Waypoint Cafe at the Camarillo airport for breakfast or lunch. The food is good, the service is good and sitting on the airport property is so much fun as you watch the plans take off and land. The place gets crowded - that tells you... More

My wife and I wanted to go here for lunch on Memorial Day. We arrived at 2:25 PM and the restaurant was open until 3:00 PM. and there was only one couple waiting. Hostess told us that we couldn't put our name down because they were closing in 35 minutes. Sounded like they were already closed! If a business advertises... More

The food and service at Waypoint Cafe are great! Daily specials for Breakfast and lunch. TriTip is really good. The location and atmosphere is unique. In addition to the interior aircraft design, the "Flight Crew" Team has recently modified the exterior with a scale flight tower, runway etc. Worth the trip.

We had no idea about this gem hidden by the airport and less than 5 minutes from the outlets. Ordered the wedge, the tuna, tri-tip that had been smoking on the grill for a long while, mimosas, and a chocolate shake. All of the food was yummy, the mimosas were so good, and the chocolate shake was awesome!!! We sat... More

We met our son here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. He flew in his 2 seat airplane, and we drove from Ventura. The place has been enlarged and upgraded since our last visit and is enormously popular, which leads to long wait times. The wait was worth while. We enjoyed a visit with our son sitting outside looking at... More

Love going here. Great spot to bring friends or customers from out of town. Right next to all the private planes. Plus the food is great. Tri Tip sandwiches are awesome.
