This restaurant is located at the airport so it is not on the beaten path. It is worth the short drive. Outdoor and indoor seating. And most of all the food is fantastic. It is not haute cuisine, but it is extremely well presented, huge portions, and , most importantly, delicious. And yes, I had their tri-tip...very good and I... More

I guess I was expecting more from the experience. You can't really see planes taking off and landing, since that happens behind a building that obstructs the view. It would be more correct to say you can see planes/helicopters coming in for a landing, or gaining elevation after taking off. But the food was fine (we were there for lunch),... More

I get the feeling I just ordered the wrong thing here, I mean everyone else loves this place but me! But I got the French dip, and it was blaaaaannnd. I was pretty bummed out by the whole thing, ju, meat, bread, fries- all bland. My hubs was into whatever he got (sorry, I forget what), and he said people... More

The Waypoint Cafe is probably one of the best Breakfast and Lunch restaurants in Camarillo let alone Ventura County. I visit the cafe at least once a week on Wednesdays for their Amazing Tri-Tip and have so for the last 4 years. On weekends it's typically breakfast for the wife and I but they also serve their Amazing Tri-Tip on... More

My daughter will be back in Calif. for a week and this is the one place she has requested we go! What's not to like? The cafe is set at the airport where you can eat inside and look out at the runway thru huge windows, or sit outside and watch the plane activity. It is frequented by a lot... More

Lots of vintage cars in the lot, free parking, lots of people, it's always crowded, pilots go here, tourists, locals. There is a nice indoor restaurant, a patio area for dining and a nice grass seating area you can watch all the small single and twin engine plains take off and land. There are nice comfortable chairs, umbrellas and cold... More

A buddy of mine took me to breakfast on a recent visit to the area. We went on a weekday for breakfast at about 9 AM, the place was nearly full (doesn't anyone work). Anyway I ordered the Blueberry pancakes and they were awesome and the service was outstanding. Don't be fooled just because this restaurant is located at the... More

The Waypoint Cafe is THE breakfast destination for our family. Great Belgium waffles- and they usually have specials that are indeed special. Weds. lunch is usually tri-tip sandwiches- but very crowded due to its popularity. Definitely the best breakfast in Camarillo. We like to take our grandson with us, then walk around the airport to see the planes. Makes for... More

A great all-american place, with a twist. Like a drive-in for small airplanes. Really good hamburgers, and nice staff. Will visit again if in the neighbourhood.

This place is always a treat to go to for either breakfast or lunch. Suggest getting there early to avoid the wait but the food is worth it. You will be stuffed when you leave. Fun airport view and decor inside and out.
