A party of eight on a Thursday evening after a long day of wine tasting. We were surprised at how empty the restaurant was at 6:15. But the service was great, the food well prepared and presented. I had the crispy fish (rock cod), which was spectacular...and huge! It was also $42, the most expensive entree on the menu. At... More

We stopped in for a late lunch. I had a salmon sandwich which was delicous. My table mates had the angus burgers with several specific requests and all were met perfectly. Beautifully appointed restaurant - loved the wood and thick carpet pad!

Lots of food, decent service. The overall quality of food is good with a couple dishes that stand out. My daughter had a pork chop dish which was exceptional.

When you don't get Cioppino often this more than satisfies the craving, and by far is some of the best I've had; fantastic flavor, good portion of seafood, It was soo good I forgot what my companion had for dinner. The calimari was an excellent start to the meal with the wonderfully prepared manhattan and martini we started with. All... More

Everything was ok but nothing was outstanding. The atmosphere was pleasant and dinner was enjoyable but this place wouldn't be my first choice to eat in Calistoga.

Having dined here oh, about 100 times I can say it's a great place for the food and vibe. Sometimes we'll try the happy hour and eat at the bar. When in the dining room, we always request a window table which is especially lovely in warm months. Their burger is epic. Same with lamb shank. The iceberg wedge is... More

My husband and I arrived in Calistoga and saw Brannan's as we were pulling into town... It was definitely aesthetically pleasing from the outside... and we were told it was a nice, "finer" place to dine in town by our hotel concierge...so we decided to try it. The restaurant was very large and somewhat historic in it's decor... Very nice.... More

The restaurant has a very good service. We got a nice table and the staff was caring for us. The chefs menu (3 courses) for this day was a real bargain with very good food. The steak was excellent and just right prepared. You can order flights of wine (3 different kinds in one order) what is great to share... More

This restaurant was OK, but I wasn't blown away. My husband had steak and I had fish and chips (though I wish I had tried something else) and both meals were fine. If I had it to do over again, I would go somewhere else, somewhere ethnic, rather than American. If you want American food, it'll be fine, I'm sure!
