This was our first meal in a long weekend getaway to celebrate our 25th anniversary so maybe our expectations were higher than usual. The food is based on Farmers Market-type ingredients and is southern-styled. But the restaurant reminded me of a plantation / beach resort, lacking warmth and intimacy. We tried the acorn squash soup ( good but not special),... More

Whats not to love about Solage and its perfectly wonderful restaurant. I am only sorry it was closed this trip for renovations and I didn't get to eat at Solbar! I love even walking through this property with the fountains, pools and gardens. To stay the night is a treat for the senses! They know how to make a room... More

This was an amazing experience. We had three days at the Solage, having rented a studio, and booked a few treatments. It is just fantastic. I was slightly nervous, imagining everyone would be super-fit and a bit posh, but it isn't like that at all. It is wonderfully friendly from the moment you check in, until you leave. The staff... We stayed close by this elegant resort and drove over for supper on a late August evening. We walked through lovely grounds to find our table under the trees. A charming and knowledgable server hosted a delicious meal full of delectable locally sourced dishes served with grace. It was a charming evening with the hills in the distance as a... More

Friendly and intelligent Service - delicious food. Brunch, Lunch and Dinner - inside, outside or sitting at the bar. Fresh and sparkling flavors - favorites from our most recent lunch visit include the shrimp lettuce wraps, chicken noodle soup, and duck confit bahn mi.

Dined here in the fall with my wife and 2 friends. This was our favorite restaurant in the northern part of the valley (between Helena and Calistoga). The sole ($33) was succulent and was a large portion. The duck breast ($35) was the best I have ever had - so delicious and tender. The salad ($15) and squash ($13) were... More

Much smaller than I expected with a limited menu. But certainly worth a visit. When the waiter told me that Mary's Chicken was the moistest chicken, he wasn't misleading me at all. It was perfect. As was the salmon. Cocktail selection was unique and clever.

What to say really, soaking in the sun of a warm winter afternoon with a glass of on tap pinot noir from the region. Enjoying a delightfully generous plate of cheese. Life cannot be more perfect than that. Will be back for more!
