Yep, meh, that's all I really have to say about this one. We were a party of 6 looking forward to another great meal in wine country & judging from the great reviews we had high expectations. I started my dining experience with the brussel sprout salad, I do not know if this was suppose to be raw but, it... More

Still hungry after a salad and entre. Spent a bit of money and had to come home and have a substantial snack. And I'm not a big eater or a big person or someone who just ran a marathon. Just assumed I'd get a tasty satisfying meal. No such luck.

While pre-fix dining is very common, the way this place works it's menu is very cool. Pick anything on the menu, regardless of price and the items are portioned to accommodate the restaurant and the the patron- four to six courses. Three courses and a dessert are more than enough. Food is beautifully prepared and almost every menu item is... More

After a day of cruising the vineyards and wine-tasting it was a delight to bring our best purchase of the day to this restaurant. We called it a reverse wine-pairing as we chose the food on our five course tasting menu to fit the wine. However, we also chose a great Viognier to accompany the first two courses of watercress... I was weary of going after seeing the posted menu during our walk downtown , i even tried to convince my husband to go someplace else, the menu seemed to me limited and I thought I would have few options. After reading the reviews , it looked like the tasting menu was the way to go and it was The... More

Tucked under a grand hotel in downtown Calistoga, this hotel restaurant can stand all on its own. A great bar (circa 1920s but with updates), the vibe is friendly, confident, and casual. Perfect after a long day outdoors or winetasting. Very helpful staff, and fun, too. Wonderful wine list. Small plates and large are full of interesting items - sweetbreads,... More

We can't rave enough about this restaurant. Truth be told, it's pricey but you get what you pay for. I had the fried quail/macaroni and cheese entree. It was absolutely amazing. My boyfriend got the five course tasting option and was able to try a variety of things on the menu. Almost a full week later he continues to say... More

We had a wonderful meal here this past Sunday night. The food was delicious and I thought the prices were reasonable for what you received. It was obviously a popular place and I would definitely recommend making a reservation. Based upon a previous TA review, we requested a window table and this made for better light and better people watching.

The food at JoLe is delicious. We did the 4 course tasting menu. The presentation is very nice and the food is very fresh. I would definitely recommend.
