Good BBQ beef, pork, and chicken - even beef and pork ribs. Nothing special for eating area (indoors or outdoors) but good food.
We were driving through and saw the BBQ sign and thought heck yeh. Well we should have kept going and found something else to eat. The ribs had little to no meat on the bones. Portion size was small for the price. I'm sure you can find better, less expensive food somewhere around here. I didn't care for the sauce,... More
If you are near Calistoga, this place is a must! Plus it is one of the view restaurants in the area which is kind to your pocketbook. Great BBQ for a very reasonable price.
We were driving from Geyserville to Calistoga looking for a good lunch spot when were overwhelmed by the smell of BBQ! Such a great find! Very casual...picnic table, paper plates, plastic cutlery and lots of outside seating. It was a beautiful day so sitting outside was not an inconvenience. Pulled pork and BBQ chicken sandwich were great. The sauce was... More
Shared the BBQ platter with a friend. The ribs had little to no meat on the bones. Portion size was just tiny for $22. Beer selection was minimal. I'm sure you can find better food in town. The BBQ sauce was really good, I will give them that. Tri-tip was pretty good too. It was a very disappointing experience because... More
It doesn't get more casual than this - picnic tables in a tent. Who cares when the food is this tasty. The tri-tip is so tasty and the sides are good too. Only bummer is they give you everything on a paper plate with plastic cutlery. As you are trying to carry your meal and beverage to the table, watch... More
We love lunch at Buster's -- the tri tip and the pulled pork are great, and so is the cornbread. Be forewarned - if you get the hot sauce, it is really hot. Portions are big enough and the prices are reasonable, too. Just don't order the chili dog.
I have great barbecue and I've had terrible from all around this country and the pulled pork and sausage weren't bad. Sides nothing to write home about. Place is always busy and they ran out of food when I was here in May 2012 which anyone can tell you is a good sign for a BBQ joint. You can bring... More
We ate here recently before the big tractor Christmas parade. The food was good nothing special. It was a little pricey for what it was. I don't think I would go back. The only thing I really liked about it was being able to sit outside with my dogs.
The food was fine if eating a large quantity of dead animal and sauce on garlic bread with nothing else is what you like - though you do get a small tub of KFC like coleslaw with it. The service was very quick as the meat is pre-prepared. A few local louts were checking out our car in the lot... More
