The service was friendly and the cost was very good for the food. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The food was very good.
Went to kings for easy hour, had house wine , poor quality! Ordered calamari , tasteless and in a puddle of grease, fish house ? Mostly Salmon dishes? The ocean is an hour away? Nothing caught local? Other items on the menu obviously came from far away, (shellfish, etc.) In the end I watched the bartender take my cash (which I... More
Not only is this restaurant convenient for me, but I have never had a bad meal there. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have new menus printed every day and several fresh items daily.
Food was cold & dry. Caesar salad with salmon smelled terrible. brown lettuce under the pretty green on top and my wine glass smellEd like old fish. Dined here while staying at the Anza hotel.
Went to Commons Mall for something to eat, decided upon Kings without any prior research, great choice, food was great and our waiter Marco was very attentive, offering explanations of the menu and generally looking after us, would definitely go back!!
I'm sure there are dozens of wonderful places to eat seafood in the San Fernando Valley-- I just haven't found them yet. And then .....it wasn't. I thought they had gone to catch the fish the length of time it took. Ages and ages before a drink order was taken and even longer for the drinks to arrive. Busy? No......and no wonder.
The food is good with a very large menu, but the service can be very, very slow. It is so close to my new home that I expected to spend a lot of time there, however, it is not my favorite place to go in Calabasas. But, I must say, it is usually pretty packed, so others must be enjoying... More
I have lived and worked in Calabasas for over 19 years, yet King's Fish House is the only restaurant that I come back to. It has a very nice patio, with misters, ideal for hot Summer nights and it's tucked in the quiet northeast corner of The Commons, with pleasant views of greenery and blooming flowers. It is reasonably priced and... More
I rate a restaurant first on quality of food. Quality = cleanliness, proper preparation, preparation and taste. Service, commitment to customer satisfaction, overall cleanliness, noise factor, infant factor and price are among the other considerations. How this place stays in business and attracts the lines of patrons is a complete mystery to me. It is like trying to figure out... More
