Was seated outside overlooking their pond/waterfall. Very nice spot for lunch. Outside tables were busy, but inside was empty. Ordered a blackened fish sandwich with salad. The food came out on time, except it was grilled. Usually no big deal but sometimes I like it that way. I mentioned to the waitress I wanted blackened and she insisted I said... More

I enjoy Kings. The oyster selection is always good, there are a variety of fresh, seasonal fish and shellfish. The food is always well prepared. My go-to local fish place when I don't want to drive out to Malibu and get stuck in PCH traffic! Kings is always a good choice.

down visiting family,so Kings was suggested for dinner. None of us had ever been here before, so it would be a new experience for all. We made reservations and were promptly seated at our time. The place was very crowded and also very noisy. We could hardly hear each othe or what the waiter was saying! The tables are really... More

The review/info is for May-June 2014. Went several times and ordered halibut in various flavors as a main entree. Each time it came excellent: cooked just enough for safe consumption, while retaining all tenderness, flavor and juices. This restaurant is a little pricy, but it worth it! They have pretty much the save versions of main entrees for both lunch... More

I don't complain too much about restaurants, but King's is one that really deserves it. Rude servers: They yell impatiently at patrons to get out of their way, and don't even look at the tables in their areas when they pass by. Bad drinks: They shake their cocktails with crushed ice so less alcohol is used and the drink gets... More

I took my family to Kings recently and I really was in the mood for Sushi and wanted a California Crab Roll. Well on their menu it read Krab! That was my first red flag. I asked the waitress if that was fake crab and she said yes and that when I brought it up that this was a Fish... More

Every time I go here, the food is good. I definitely recommend this place to take your family and enjoy some great fish. The atmosphere is really neat. The kids menu is well thought out for young kids. This place is worth the value and you will want to go again.

I have eaten here quite a few times and always considered it good but a little pricy. This time the menu had changed and the prices were inflated. In fact, I was charged more for the meals than the menu stated. The hazelnut encrusted salmon was excellent and the rest mediocre at best. The steamed clams were cold and fishy.... More

This is the first time we have been at this restaurant since they changed their menu. I was disappointed with the Shrimp Louie Salad. It was not as good as the older version, less and different shrimp. Both of the other dinner had the sole, which was as good, but the sides were not as well prepared. Might be a... More
