Big noisy restaurant with average food. Seats we were shown to were ripped. Rather annoying bloke on a guitar wandering around singing Mexican songs (poorly)!

Had a 45 minute wait for our table but it was worth it. Good food and drinks. Our server was very nice and attentive.

It was my first time to eat at Elephant Bar and had the impression that this place is popular. It took around 15-20 minutes for us to be seated but I can't complain about the table offered us. The view to the airport's runway is a plus. Not that I didn't enjoy the company I had, but watching planes take... More

I was staying at a nearby hotel for a meeting and this restaurant was a convenient walk. Like our hotel, it provides a beautiful view of the bay. That was the highlight. We arrived at about 7:50 pm and were seated quickly. That was the last quick thing to happen. Every small step in our experience took another 20-25 minutes.... More

As many of the other reviews have already stated, this place has a great view of the planes landing at SFO. But you don’t go to a restaurant merely to watch planes. We had a party of eight so we were in their larger room. The person next to me in our party pointed out that there was an ant... More

The food used to be good here..not anymore. The artichoke dip was pasty and tasteless (used to be delish!) The chicken skewers were ok but the sauce was too salty and the Parmesan green beans were cold and bland. Three stars for the Mudd Pie and Margaritas which were excellent and for the killer view of the SFO runways. If... More

Elephant Bar in Burlingame has a wonderful view of the long SFO runway and sea. The food was disappointing. The fried green beans were lacking any flavor. Mongolian beef was dry.The fried rice had a few pieces of fried egg and that was about all.In my opinion their are better options for restaurants in the area.

Disappointing. Been to the one in Torrance, CA and it was much better. We had a great window table. The waiter was nice & efficient. Nothing extraordinary. The food was mediocre at best. Very bland, poor presentation. We had the chicken Parmesan & shrimp pasta. We had to salt it it was so bland. Also had the chicken teriyaki with... More
