Definitely go ! Great Afghani food !! Our waiter was a bit abrupt and difficult to understand, but WHO CARES?? He did his job and the food was EXCELLENT! Many good vegetarian options as well. The aushak was actually different than I've had it at other Afghani restaurants - but even more delish! Definitely going to be my new go-to... More

Located at the end of Burlingame Av, you will find a nice restaurant not as overcrowded as the others nearby. Most people will go for the local pizza or bar with American comfort food but they will miss out on the nice food you can find here. We got the combination kabab (kabab of lamb and chicken), some salads, Bulanee... More

I was here with my fiance in January and we still haven't found any other place where the food could nearly taste like it does in here. I think that says it all!

One of my daughters insisted that we try this restaurant. Since it was our first time, we ordered and sampled different dishes: shrimp kabab, e-gaw (beef), e-murgh (chicken). We were not disappointed. Very tasty. I had not been too fond of lamb in the past, but I tasted a small portion of their challaw, and I found it quite savory.... More

At the end of Burlingame Avenue, across the street from the train station, you will find a charming Afghani restaurant, decorated with carpets and tapestries. The windows slide open to give an outdoor feel on a lovely night. Everyone begins with a simple salad of lettuce a cucumber in a simple yogurt dressing with black pepper. We started with lamb... I wondered about how an Afghan restaurant would do for customers in the USA bearing in mind recent years but the restaurant was obviously popular and doing good business. I ate there with friends and we chose a mix of dishes to see what Afghani cuisine had to offer. The service was quick and precise. The food was very tasty,... More

Really enjoyed my meal with the lamb and shrimp kebabs. Very friendly service and great spicy sauce. Doesn't look like much on the outside but it's definitely worth it once you have a great meal there!

We've enjoyed Kabul in San Carlos over the years. Tasty, reasonably priced Afghan food in a comfortable atmosphere. The Burlingame site was new to us. The room did get crowded and with that noisy. We were able to converse at the table in the end. We were told that they didn't take reservations, but found out that they indeed do.... More

I'd never had Afghani food and didn't know what to expect. This attractive restaurant, decorated with rugs, pictures and various Afghan knick knacks has a menu full of lamb dishes and lots of stuffed things and stews. The three of us shared Mantoo--onion and ground lamb filled dumplings (delicate and tasty), Kadu--sauteed pum0pkin topped with yogurt and lamb meat sauce... More
