We went there with my colleagues on Wednesday and the food was delicious. Since it was mid- week, we did not have to wait to be seated. The place get very busy during weekends and at least 30 mi utes waiting time is expected. The interior was basic and the level of noise is quite high so we could barely... More

I have always wanted to try this Burmese restaurant since they seemed so popular. I went with 2 other people on a Saturday afternoon. We arrived at the restaurant at 5 pm, put our names down on the wait list and were told the wait time was at least 30 minutes. We were finally seated after several attempts of people... More

This little restaurant in Burlingame is always crowded! Expect to wait a bit if you're going at peak meal times. Favorites include Tea Leaf Salad, Green Papaya Salad, Pumpkin Yellow Chicken. But almost everything here is good. You can't go wrong.

Sitting down in an unadorned restaurant on a noveaux mainstreet across from a Banana Republic, you say "did I come all the way out here to pay $12 for some run-of-the-mill food?", but you decide to give it a go, and order the tea leaf salad as part of a lunch combination. The tea leaf salad comes, is mixed at... More

Tea Leaf salad is a must. House special noodles, green papaya salad, avocado egg rolls all excellent.

Food and service is excellent. I have eaten here many times and loved the meal every visit. They usually have a waiting line of people outside.

I had never had Burmese food and so this was a little new for me but I enjoyed it. I had the green papaya salad which had a nice crunch to it, and the spicy basil beef which was pretty good. I also tried the saffron rice with raisins and cashews which added some interesting flavor as well. The service... More

Sure the food is good but the attitude and service is below par. The owner/manger's attitude is arrogant and rude. But the noise level in this tiny crowded place is unbearable. Been there twice and came away with a headache and could not enjoy the food and could not hold a conversation without shouting. Sorry, won't see me there again,... More

My family and I have been to this restaurant several times and it is very consistent. The food is great and there aren't many Burmese restaurants in the Bay Area. The food is fairly priced and young children seem to have no problems finding something they like. The only downside is that it is generally booked-up for dinner so unless... More

We expected to be wowed after reading other reviews and were highly disappointed. The mango salad was unbelievably good--reason enough to visit this restaurant. Nevertheless, the Burmese Style Curry Prawns were very disappointing--six small shrimp in a bland sea of stewed tomatoes and okra. The Basil Spicy Eggplant was reasonably spicy but lacked any quality which would entice us to... More
