Not just a bakery. Their empanadas and meat pies were delicious. But their meat filled potato balls were fantastic! Their sandwiches looked good too. Be prepared to stand in line. We waited all week before we finally saw that the line was not out the door and down the street! A great value for the money. We had 2 empanadas,... More

Stopped by for a late lunch on recommendation from a local merchant. She warned me not be concerned about the long line. She was right! Ordered quickly, received tea and pastry immediately. Had to wait for steak sandwich which came hot and as ordered. Sandwich could have used a little more flavor but still good. The chocolate almond cake? Absolutely... More

Porto's was recommended to me by my brother who lives in the area. I was hesitant as I'm pretty picky about my sandwiches, however, I need to just start trusting my brother. Lol. This place was amazing!!! And priced pretty well... For two of is, it was about $19! I got the hot pastrami (popular item on their menu as... More

I've been to all three locations. This one, we arrived early on a Sunday morning, bracing ourselves for a crowd. Not bad at all, the owners have really learned their lesson from their Glendale location. Two lines that move expeditiously. Clean, SUPER FRIENDLY employees who are wanting to help no matter how long the line is or how busy it... More

This place is pretty good sized and is absolutely packed with people. You either line up for food on one side or pasteries on the other. Employees keep things moving very quickly and you receive an order number to place on your table. We had great sandwiches that were served with house made plantian chips. Afterward we lined up for... Yummy breakfast. Very good prices for very fancy pastries and cakes. 2 different lines available to handle the crowd.

A bit of a wait, but it was Friday lunchtime. Food was delicious and served promptly once we had waited in line to give our order.

It is a good thing I do not live locally, otherwise I would be in danger of spending many mornings here. Luckily the prices are not bad at all. We were astonished at the amount of food we were able to purchase for around $5. The cheese roll, chocolate chip muffin, and potato ball are all highly recommended. I also... More

We got the Tres Leches Cake with Berries for a family member's birthday. Off-the-chart good! Also nicely decorated to make a great presentation. Frosting was real whipped cream. Probably costs more than the average birthday cake, but it was special, and worth every cent.
