I go to Portos every week for a weekly business meeting with a client. Have done so for a few years. Excellent sandwiches, moderately priced. There's always a line but it moves fast. Somehow we always manage to find a table outside. Sometimes we need to wait 5-10 minutes for a table to free up but it's not too bad.... More

Porto's has a sort of cult following. It isn't a trendy or flashy restaurant, but instead a walk-in fast food establishment. There are tables and chairs for your comfort. But after you order, you're given a number, whereby you select a table that's available, set out your number and wait to have your food delivered. Good food at a fair... More

This is not your typical restaurant, it is the biggest bakery you have ever seen. All at very reasonable prices. The lines are very long, but they move fast. A fantastic place to indulge in flaky pastry things, deep fried things and killer sandwiches. It will take many pages to describe, but all I say is, if I am anywhere... More

Porto's is extremely popular among locals and newbies are quickly converted to regulars. The lines can be very long but the wait is always interesting and you'd be surprised who might be standing in front or behind you. The pastries are divine, their breads are wonderful, and the food is always fresh and delicious. Try it, you'll like it.

The food is very good, some wait to give order due to it being busy. They bring the order to the table. A bite noisy but over all very good and considerate.

In a world of health craziness, it's nice to relax and have a pastry and a cup of coffee. Life's too short.

I go here a lot, as I live in the neighborhood. The food is Divine. The cakes and pastries are top notch and a must on every party we have or go to. Value, fresh, quality ingredients...it doesn't get much better than this.

Portos can seem overwhelming when you walk in with long lines anytime but they move fast. Their media noche sandwich with roast pork, ham, swiss cheese, and pickles on sweet cuban bread is a winner, as is their roast pork sandwich and vegetarian sandwich. The pasteries are fantastic----guava cheese strudel and tres leches cake are standouts. Get a whole cake... More

Nice breakfast (stand in line, order and pay, then find a table and wait for service) really good food. Mostly known for its pastries and they are sensational. You must also try the potato balls.

Stand in line, order your food and then sit and enjoy it. The style is Cuban. I have never had a bad item here. Recently the bakery made a wedding cake for me. It was perfect and perfectly delicious. They open early and close around eight p.m. If you go at an off hour your wait will, of course, be... More
