I have been going to the original Porto's in Glendale for years and was thrilled when they opened one in Downey and Burbank. I stop by the Burbank one a lot because the parking lot is easy to find (off the main drag) and there is a guard who assists you find a spot and it's free :-) (You have... More

The pastry selection is very large and everything is great, esp the Guava Pastry with or without cheese. Not a bad choice . The Cuban sandwiches are filling and priced right.

I guess this review is about service and I would like to start with the waiting in line. This place in Burbank is pack with customer and it seems like a chaos inside. The staff are trying their best but overwhelmed with so many customer from different walks of life. I think this place is biting more than they could... More

We went here on a recommendation from one of my husband's students who used to live in the LA area and it was AMAZING!!!! We had a couple of differ types of the Cuban sandwiches and an assortment of pastries and treats. The prices are lower than most bakeries and the quality much better!! We got twice as many treats... You can have sandwiches or coffee and some of the best Cuban desserts ever. Very fast service so don't let the lines scare you away.

Stopped for breakfast on our way to LAX. What a great way to end our vacation. Pastries were delicious-wish they were out here on the East Coast. Miss those yummy scones!

Stopped in with my wife almost on accident and WOW, what a fun place. Pastry cases were filled with cakes, scones, breads, croissants and delicious looking sweet and savory pastries. Place was buzzing with business like a great deli, stood in line to approach the counter and place orders. Staff were very helpful, friendly, prompt and the food didn't disappoint.... More

I've probably driven past Porto's, Burbank going to/from Burbank Airport over a hundred times and never noticed it. My bad, This place rocks and puts out great and varied pastry. When my girlfriend advised me we needed to drive to Porto"s Burbank to pick up two birthday cakes for a party her friend was throwing fore her I reluctantly agreed--even... More

Saw this place on the food network and made a point of checking it out while in the LA area for a couple of days. Absolutely incredible. Every pastry and cake on the planet is right here. You will not find a fresher assortment of bakery products anywhere else. Cakes, fresh baked breads and Latin pastries. I ordered a shredded... More

Porto's in Burbank is my stop at least once every three weeks. Not only can you find great tasting sandwiches and a very large dessert counter, but you can dine in or take it with you. If you intend to dine in, parking can be a challenge as they seem to always be busy. Looking forward to my next meal/dessert... More
