Older restaurant, our waitress was a "Hoot", the only way to describe her. She was moving and talking a mile a minute, very efficient though. I ordered the Hot Turkey sandwich, it was a monster. This is as close to a diner as it comes. The food is consistant and good, the staff have been there forever and know the menu and the clientele. The homemade thousand island idressing s the best. A great place if everyone wants something different because everyone can find something on the menu.

Some things never change, and thank goodness for that. When you enter the Tallyrand you kinda feel like you've been transported to the 1970s, but in a good way. This place is the classic American diner, so it's your usual 8-page diner menu with everything from breakfast to bacon burgers to Romanian Steak. The hot open-faced turkey sandwich is legendary... This is a pretty classic diner with a full bar. The roast turkey is their specialty -- carved from the bird, your choice of white, dark, or mixed. With dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, and a little bowl of salad, plus bread and butter. Like from the 50's. Staff is attentive, service is pretty quick, and the cinnamon rolls are a... More

I visited the Tallyrand restaurant shortly after they opened on Thursday, April 2nd 2015. Breakfast before taking the 1st Warner Brothers tour of the morning. The Tallyrand was not terribly busy right at opening, but was hopping about the time that I left. I had a wonderful visit. I sat at the front counter for my meal. I was taken... More

Tallyrand is famous for having the best turkey dinner, turkey sandwiches and a variety of great meals for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. This is where Burbankians regularly flock for a great meal. The late Huel Howser was a regular customer, and his favorites are highlighted on the menu. An added bonus are the yummy baked goods (delicious muffins) offered as... More

When ever we are in Burbank we always eat breakfast here. Great food, great value and excellent service. Portions are generous and plenty of coffee.

Tallyrand owners have done a great job keeping the restaurant quaint and comfortable without sacrificing cleanliness and general upkeep. Great care has gone into making sure the surroundings and good are great quality without losing the "homegrown" feeling that I'm sure the locals have grown to love about the place. The good won't win any awards, but is good enough... More

This is the 3rd meal we've had at the Tally Rand and it was great. We each ordered a different meal and we all enjoyed the food we ordered. Our waitress was Mindi S and she was great. We all, but one, came home with left overs to enjoy another time .The onion rings are some of the best in... More
