We tried Mexican food for practically the first time at this family-owned restaurant. The staff were so helpful as we didn't even know how to eat it when it arrived. Great drinks and atmosphere. Get there early or you have to wait a while as it is very popular.

I had my first margarita here, the staff were excellent in crafting one for me. Food was really good, although be prepared to walk out of a nice and cool, dark (not shady though!) indoor place and into the bright sun!

The best frozen margaritas in La. No pretense here. Just authentic Mexican cuisine. Been around for over forty years and is very reasonably priced. The restaurant is charming and kinda kitsch in its Mexican decor. Real atmosphere. The food is great. Fajitas are amazing! Have guacamole made at the table it is the real deal. Great chili Rellenos and the... More

A lot has changed over the past 10 years in this little enclave of Burbank near Warner Bros. There are now new hotels in the area and a few new restaurants. One thing that has not changed is Don Cuco, a "classical" Mexican restaurant on Riverside Drive, not far from the building where the Warner Bros. Studio Tours take off.... More

The decor of the restaurant reminds me of mexico. I thought it was nice. The food was delicious. I read all the previous reviews and I didn't have any problems with service or food being rushed.

Don Coco Mexican Restaurant is a Burbank icon. it has been in the same location since 1969. the shotgun shape makes this place a unique spot to have a margarita. The food is a step maybe two above average, granted it was the rush and were quite busy. The presentation could be cleaned up a bit, seemed a bit rushed.... More

Cozy cute hole in the wall little Mexican food place I felt right at home the first time and come here often now. Love their shredded beef enchiladas and their homemade salsa is always fresh and delicious and nice fresh homemade chips always come warm :)

If you're looking for good Mexican food - this is a good place to go. They can accommodate couples or large groups for dinner. Food is good but not the most exciting or fabulous I have ever had - service was also good.

I had high hopes after reading reviews here, but the food was completely lacking in flavor. maybe it is dumbed down for the local tastes, but the salsas were so so, the guacamole was without flavor (and to me, half the ingredients were missing), the burrito and the stuffed chili had no flavor, almost like it had been boiled for... This is the cutest Mexican restaurant I visited in a while now. Some might find it a bit tacky, but the place screams Mexico. The service was super friendly and attentive. They greet you with a smile from the moment you enter until you leave. The food was so delicious. We had Fajita and some kind of spicy rice and both...
