Little eatery, but food and service were great

Not sure there is such a thing as "authentic" Mexican food in America, but Don Cuco's seems to be close. Lots of choices on the menu, not just tacos, burritos and quesadillas (but those are there, too.) The service was attentive, drinks refilled quickly and dinner was served promptly. Arrived Thursday night with no reservation and was seated within 30 min...no problem and staff treated us well all evening. Escorted to back room where room was a good 10 degrees warmer than the front room. C'mon! 90 plus degree day and still very warm at 7:30 PM and now this? Salsa very good and meals were good but not... More

I had a really good time at Don Cuco. It's not the absolute best Mexican food I have ever tasted, but I thought it was good. I loved the chips with salsa and sour cream. It's a bit dark inside, but the service was very good. It's a nice place to celebrate a birthday or have dinner with friends. I know... More

Good salsa, decent flan, nice fish entrees that offer a change from run-of-the-mill Mexican dishes. They have all the standards as well. Consistently edible. Good chicken tortilla soup with avocado comes with most entrees. Very dark no matter what time of day it is, sometimes hard to see your food. Tacky decor that can be enjoyable, possibly why they keep... More

If this is your first visit, get a house margarita on the rocks with salt, the chicken tortilla soup and a carne asada burrito. If you have any room afterward, get a cup of black drip coffee to close the night out. You can send me a thank you gift later. If you're like my boyfriend and myself, your first... More

Standard Mexican fare, in a cool atmosphere in this long and skinny inside restaurant. Service was very good, it seemed like the waitstaff had been there a long time, and for good reason. They took my name and put it on the list on a Friday night, and then I went back across the street and gathered the rest of... More

Although Vancouver has many great restaurants, Mexican cuisine is not readily available. Almost every time I get a chance to get home to LA, Don Cuco's is always on my radar. A very large menu ( well over 60 dishes) cooked to perfection! A don't miss when you find yourself in Burbank!

The food, service, and margaritas were all excellent. I get to Burbank about once a year on business and plan to eat here from now on for each and every trip. The queso fundido is to die for!

Decent Mexican cuisine in the heart of Burbank. They must be doing something right as there was a wait for a table on a Monday evening. The margaritas were pretty good as well. Lighting was a little on the dark side so it made identifying food items a little difficult. Service was friendly and the prices were decent.

The bar area is a regular stop for happy hour with co-workers. They put out appetizers and vary the selection frequnetly. The servise is prompt and the servers friendly. I would rate the margaritas a 7/10, not always that string but the atmosphere and the free sppetizers make it a 9/10. I have also had food off the regular menu... More
