The service and food was excellent. I was there on a business trip and found myself eating the same thing 2 nights in a row. They are awesome!

Our family dined at Don Cuco's on a Wednesday evening. The outside is really deceiving as one would think it's a very small intimate place. It goes way in and has more than one dining area. The booths and tables are done very well and comfortable. Our server, Olivia, was friendly and courteous. The entrees, Chicken Tortilla Soup and the... More

The food was superb at this restaurant and also had an excellent waiter. It also had a cozy feeling with nice decor. Our only complaint was that the drinks were rather expensive.

Don Cuco was right across the street from our hotel, the outside appearance was inviting so we decided to give it a try. The place was packed, couldn't even get into the bar area but the hostess was great about getting us a margarita while we waited for a table. We took our drinks outside to enjoy on the patio... It was expensive for the quality. Beers were $6, margaritas $8. I had Tacos al Pastor y al Carbon, which were unremarkably flavored. Another dish I had on another visit was Camarones a la Diabla, which was coarsely flavored and overcooked (rubbery shrimp). But the service was very good.

If you're staying at the Tangerine, this restaurant is not only convenient but very good value for money. The food is fresh, authentic mexican and you can't go wrong with their margaritas which are generously large and surprisingly strong.

I've been to Don Cuco's many times and always have a great time. Its dimly lit but lively atmosphere has a charm all its own and the margaritas never disappoint. Be careful thought... they pack a nice punch. Great food with a wide selection on the menu from beef to chicken to seafood... carne asada to crab enchiladas it's all... More
