Nostalgic and still great. I grew up going to the Bobs in Glendale. Burbank was the next town over and had a competing football team. So we avoided Burbank. Unfortunately there are few authentic Bobs left. We went to Bobs for lunch today. The thousand island and blue cheese dressings are unchanged. Same with the hamburger. It was a very... More

The oldest operating Bob's Big Boy. We went twice. One night (Friday) had a line-up of vintage cars in the parking lot. This was great to see, but made parking difficult. Each time we waited to have supper for about 15-20 minutes. The menu is a diner menu, with burgers and shakes and such. The prices are reasonable. We received... More

No need to go into great detail. Bob's Super Big Boy Combo, bleu cheese dressing on the salad, ice cream brownie sundae. Enough said. A real classic experience. Go. Just go.

We are so lucky that dining comes in so many different forms. This restaurant is a lot of fun, it was great to see the antique cars just out side, you get a mini car show for free.

Although I remember Bob's Big Boy fondly, I also remember walking out of one due to terrible service too. This one was packed on a Sunday morning, but the staff was friendly and attentive and we did not have to wait too long. We had the basics, bacon and eggs and biscuits and they were good, but no better or... More

The original Big Boy Restaurant. Now known as Shoneys in some parts of the country this is the original one. On Fiday nights antique and unique cars gather for exhibition in the parking lot. If you are lucky you may run into Jay Leno one of the best known collectors. If you plan on eating go in side and get... More

I have lived in this area my entire life but this was the first time I went to Bobs big boy for the classic car event. They have this event every Friday night unless it's raining. It was a lot of fun to see all the beautiful cars. The place is packed so expect at least a 45 minute wait... More

If you like the nostalgia and the fact the place is the first location, it is iconic. The memorabilia is also worth the stop. There is ample parking located in the rear of the restaurant. We stopped on a Saturday around 1:00pm. It was not crowded and only had a short wait for service. The server was super friendly, prompt... More

I hadn't been to Bob's in awhile. This Bob's in particular. Decided to stop in one morning to get some pancakes since I was craving them. I was nearby so what better place to stop? Well, I was a bit disappointed. I sat at the counter and it took a little for someone to take my order. After that the... More

Sorry to hear you were a little disappointed, Steve. Our pancakes should always blow you away and it's a shame they didn't this time. Next time, let us know if you have any issues and we'll fix it in the moment. Can't wait to knock it out of the park next time, Mike Lopez, General Manager More
