Great Steak and trimmings

Visited while passing through Buellton while headed south. I had their Cajun Rib eye and my wife had the petite sirloin. Both steaks were cooked perfectly and the sides were excellent. The only negative was I thought the Cajun seasoning and oil were excessive for the dish, even though it tastes... read more

Enjoyed the interior decorations, felt very Western. Food was good and portion size large. Service was fast and friendly, If I lived in the area I would eat there occasionally.

The moment you sit down, a pot of vegetable soup and a bowl of chili is put in front of you. Taxidermied wildlife surrounds you but everything is super clean. The dinners prices look a little high but considering one meal will feed you for four days, don't concern yourself with the cost. On our last visit, my husband and... More

If your hungry and do not care what you put in your body, its good. We felt like we were in a bad scene of a Disneyland like food fest. Way too much going on and way too much food. Which in the food case, would be great if it was good enough to take home and feed us for... More

I will start by saying I think they give most people too much food here. After ordering they will bring you a large skillet of beef stew, a bowl of black beans and a smaller bowl of salsa. This "appetizer" would have easily been enough food for my wife and I. Combine all three dishes in your bowl - it... More

Loved the western cowboy ambiance ! Lucky we did not order appetizers . Food was bountiful . I ordered the pork chops and the girlfriend had the pork spareribs . Included was this hearty vegetable soup and a salad . Soup included a salsa and black beans ! What a combo ! My pork chops were good but the kicker... More

My husband and I ate here on a recent trip to Solvang. I had filet mignon and it was not fork tender but tasted good. My husband had ribs and the meat was a little tough. The restaurant definitely gives you plenty of food though - maybe too much. The service was outstanding and our waitress was very nice and... More

We love this place. And we take the kids and they have fun. Make reservations it gets busy here. And eat the beans they are yummy with the salsa too. When we are in the area we stop here.

We happened to show up on a Saturday night, with reservations, but unfortunately chose a night that a group of 30 soccer-playing children and their adults decided it would be a good night to come to this place. We were seated about 20 minutes after our reservation time. We ended up with a server that had been on the job... More

Not a fan of the restaurant, mainly due to portion size and too many children, but the bar menu is outstanding. The portions are smaller but still quite large and reasonably priced, plus no kids. Clean, friendly staff and very good portions.
