We stopped at Andersen' s Pea Soup to eat because we stayed in the Inn next door. We ordered a few bowls of pea soup and it tasted phenomenal. Our waiter Katie gave us good recommendations and was very attentive. Thank you.

I love to stop by this restaurant everytime I'm in town, not only for the great Pea soup that never changes and tastes great but for quaint shopping experience and pastries.

We were traveling north on 101 and thinking about lunch when I saw the sign for Buellton and remembered Pea Soup Andersen's. There are only two left of what was once several and we usually try to stop when traveling and pass one. We each ordered a bowl of their famous pea soup and a sandwich. We enjoyed both but... More

It's all about pea soup. "Splitting peas since 1924." Fun little trip back in time. Lots of great memorabilia throughout. We skipped the soup.

My parents have been talking about this place for years, and we finally made it through this part of SoCal to stop here. The food was very good, my dad and I got the "Travelers Special" which is all you can eat pea soup, and bread, and my mom got The Count of Monte Cristo sandwich. The pea soup is... More

Like their restaurant in Santa Nella, California, we occasionally would stop in for a bite to eat or to brows in their bakery and gift shops. Your seated at one of the many “booths” before being handed one of their menu’s, which features an enormous variety of food from breakfast to dinner and of course their “all you can eat... More

We went to Pea Soup Anderson's on Sunday evening at about 6 on June 29th 2014. Our group had the fried chicken dinner, a hamburger, a hot turkey sandwich, and a salad. The chicken was good. Like you would like it to be. But the good stopped there. The turkey sandwich was dry, dry, dry, dry. The hamburger was way... More

I grew up in Buellton, and had been there once since about 10 years ago. We just came thru town again and decided to stop for lunch.. The service was fine, but the soup sure isn't what it used to be. It was flavorless, thick like it had been reheated too many times and I used to eat 2 or... More

I have been going to Pea Soup Anderson's since I was a child. My parents took us up and down the coast camping and exploring California. It was always a treat to stop in at the Buellton location or the old Carlsbad location and devour a bowl of pea soup. Both the brown bread and the onion cheese bread are... More

A Central Coast Icon forever, but first time I had been there. 'Everything for the Traveler' is a true & correct statement! Gift shop with everything you can imagine. Huge, coffee shop style restaurant, large portions, very busy place. A fun place to check out.
