A hop across the street from the "too expensive for where it is" Bridgeport inn, good value burgers, splendid onion rings, and good old fashioned service. Thanks

Apart from this palce looks much nicer from the pavement than when you are inside...think sports bar with number plates nailed to the ceiling....I was amazed that someone in 2014 is still serving average/poor quality food in a plastic basket...thanks goodness I didn`t order soup!

Food was great. Service was friendly. Cleaning agent used to sanitize tables smells strong and was objectionable....still we were glad to have a "clean" table. Pizza was terrific but they didn't have a "medium" size so we got the large one and have been enjoying yummy leftovers. Don't let the bar dissuade you...several families with children were perfectly welcome and... More

Typical country bar with good food, lots of beer, pool tables, interesting décor, but family friendly.

The food and service was great. The prices a little high but I guess for this area it is the norm. The portions were large though.

I was road weary....only explanation as to what would cause me to order fried chicken somewhere I had never eaten before. Especially at a small-town diner/tavern. Not only was it acceptable, it was EXCELLENT! WONDERFUL! GREAT! chicken. Hot, crisp, well-seasoned and perfectly cooked. Best fried chicken we've had in many years. The onion rings were also delicious. Place is clean,... More

We got into town late Thursday night and went to the Sportsman's Bar which had just stopped serving food. Which was okay by us... we walked across the street to Rhino and had some hot sandwhiches, fries and beer. Then came back the next night for pizza, which hit the spot. It's bar food, but in a nicer atmosphere. Hostesses... More

We are here several times during our stay in Bridgeport and found both the food and the atmosphere to be great. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a great meal and good service.
