I love pizza, and would almost never turn it down. BUT... I have had to the last time I was offered it, and the reason being... is the garlic flavor just over powered the whole thing. Garlic triggers migraines for me and I can't afford to have that happen. Otherwise I'm sure this would be garlic lovers dream pizza :)

Excellent food. We loved the veggie pizza and veggie burgers. The place is hopping most nights. We were in town for a week and ate there almost every night. The staff was friendly, efficient and the service was great. We will be back often.

Next time, I'm ordering the hot wings. (Not the hottest -suicidal) The mildest wings were excellent, but too mild for my liking. Still has Alaskan Amber on draft -a rarity, Attentive, but unobtrusive service. From what I saw, this place welcomes guests from overseas -as will the "regulars". This is a very well-run and well-preserved bit of what California was... More

It was much better last year than it is now and it shows. The place was about empty. Service pretty good but not the homey feeling we got last year. Food OK but nothing special. so much junk on walls and around they are mostly dust collectors and in need of a good cleaning. seems dark and dingy.

A hop across the street from the "too expensive for where it is" Bridgeport inn, good value burgers, splendid onion rings, and good old fashioned service. Thanks

Apart from this palce looks much nicer from the pavement than when you are inside...think sports bar with number plates nailed to the ceiling....I was amazed that someone in 2014 is still serving average/poor quality food in a plastic basket...thanks goodness I didn`t order soup!

Food was great. Service was friendly. Cleaning agent used to sanitize tables smells strong and was objectionable....still we were glad to have a "clean" table. Pizza was terrific but they didn't have a "medium" size so we got the large one and have been enjoying yummy leftovers. Don't let the bar dissuade you...several families with children were perfectly welcome and... More

Typical country bar with good food, lots of beer, pool tables, interesting décor, but family friendly.

The food and service was great. The prices a little high but I guess for this area it is the norm. The portions were large though.

I was road weary....only explanation as to what would cause me to order fried chicken somewhere I had never eaten before. Especially at a small-town diner/tavern. Not only was it acceptable, it was EXCELLENT! WONDERFUL! GREAT! chicken. Hot, crisp, well-seasoned and perfectly cooked. Best fried chicken we've had in many years. The onion rings were also delicious. Place is clean,... More
