Loved this place - forgot to inquire on our recent trip why. Yes, the locale wasn't on the main strip - tho just a very short 5 minute drive south. I've no idea of the owns wellbeing. We make several trips a year and this came as said news. Was GREAT Mexican food - the Sangria was tops. Very sad... More

Casa Michaela's is a little out of town but so worth the 5 minute drive! The atrmosphere is great and the views of the mountain peaks are wonderful! The food is very tasty and if you like spicy salsa, there's is about the best I've ever found in a Mexican restaurant! (They also have mild salsa)

Eastern Sierra has had such breathtaking scenery, plus this restaurant! We ordered their famous ribeye steak and it's juicy and outstanding! No wonder ppl from our motel recommended it. The side viggies crispy and fresh too! I'd definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone coming to the area!

You get a lot of food for the money. One of they best burgers I have ever tasted. Portions are generous. Beautiful view of a valley a mountain range. You can eat inside or at tables outside.

I always eat here when visiting Bodie and Mono Lake. I have only had one meal that wasn't up to their usually good standards and that was the only time I went there for lunch. Dinners are always excellent and the folks who work there are always very friendly!

This restaurant outside of Bridgeport on Highway 395 had good, hearty Mexican food. The service was attentive and the meal was served quickly. The chile relleno was very tasty, and it was nice to have a choice of beans or vegetables.

I start with a 3 and then add and subtract from there; this is a high 3. I had the burrito and my wife just had nachos. The burrito was good and the nachos average. I liked the building (log-cabin look) and the weather was mild so no heat issues. The chips and salsa starter was good; fresh, not greasy... More

The food at Michaela's was very good. Very tasty, very fresh Mexican cooking. And with the view of the Sierras as a backdrop it was a pretty unbeatable location, too.

Sorry to say we didn't find this restaurant as good as some of the reviews. We didn't feel the menu had a good variety and it was slightly pricey. We ordered the Martha's Cut ribeye, which come with sauteed veges over rice, and found them to be fairly fatty. They were seasoned well though. They give you a complimentary order... More
